The point is that it produces a game winning combo.  Almost every spell costs only 1 mana, and is a cantrip, so as long as you have a Blistercoil Weird out, with the Paradise Mantle equipped to it, you can continually tap it to produce one mana, which will allow you to play a cantrip, which will let you untap Blistercoil (because of its ability) and then retap it again for another mana and continue the process as long as you can continue to draw cantrips.

That whole process both pumps Blistercoil to huge proportions to hopefully get a kill in one turn, as well as creating an insanely large Storm count to hit with Grapeshot.

There's even some more tricky plays with cards like Cerulean Wisps that allow you to generate extra mana.
Tap Blistercoil for U.  Cast Cerulean Wisps.  Resolve Blistercoil trigger, tap for U.  Resolve Cerulean Wisps, untapping Blistercoil, tap for U.  Now you are up UU and not down any cards because of the cantrip.

It's all actually a very smooth deck.

Yes, some of us do have an issue trusting people on the internet that have the power of anonymity behind them.  Having the other person ship first does nothing as far as Deckbox is concerned, all they need to do is claim that they never got them, open a Bad Trade Report, and then your trade reputation is tarnished forever, unless you have proof that the cards arrived there, AKA Delivery Confirmation.

I've done smaller trades to Canada without too many issues, but I have very well founded hesitation in shipping anything worth any significant amount of money to a place where I have no ability to prove my case.  I can just as easily be out a large amount of money in that case, because I'll either need to ship back the cards that they sent me, or take a hit to my reputation and possibly risk getting disallowed from trading altogether if I refuse to do so.

I'm actually a very trusting guy, sometimes to a fault.  I've had trades go wrong in both directions and it all has ended amicably, without any issues.  But just having "Trust" isn't worth it to me when I have literally zero chance of protecting myself from getting screwed, be that by the post office or an individual.

I can definitely trade some shocks for JtMS.  I'll send a trade and see if we can work something out.

Okay, let me rephrase then.  There's only a few listed on that page of recent events, so I assumed that there weren't many others, but that page must not show all of the recent events for some reason (Maybe sorted out by type or something).

I'm glad that somebody is getting some use out of it though, I always thought that it could be useful, I just don't have a group to play with that would make any sense to use it.

If you want to add everything from a deck to your inventory, you can easily do that. 

In the deck, go to View > Print and copy that list. 
In your Inventory go to Import > Card List and paste the list in there, and hit Import.

That's about the best you can do at the moment.

I think this will more likely be solved by the new trade interface that is in the works, that will hopefully have the option to filter out inactive users.

It should do this by default.  When you complete the trade, you should get an alert box telling you that it will add the cards to your inventory and remove them from your wishlist.  If you hit Cancel on the popup then it won't remove them.

My only other guess about why it might not have worked for you is if the cards didn't match exactly what was in your wishlist.  For instance, if you wanted a Borborygmos Enraged, and the other person had it listed as being in English while you did not, making the cards not match exactly.  I guess I haven't paid attention recently if that works or not, but I do know that it should remove things from your wishlist.

Why would you know somebody's email, but not be able to ask them their username?

I'm pretty sure that emails are not exposed in any way (besides being able to send a message indirectly), and I'd kinda like to keep it that way.
