I vote indifference.  While I would likely never use the feature, it's far too new to judge it.  Sure it's throwing pricing out of whack, but it's really not that hard to just check elsewhere.  Doesn't make the inventory features any less useful, it just clutters things up a bit.  The big thing that disappoints me is the inability to compare a person's wishlist to my inventory, but I'm still hoping for some option to allow this at some point.  Overall, I'd still keep my Deckbox inventory over migrating to a less useful site over the implementation of a feature I'll likely never use or give a crap about.

I'm thinking the best way is to make it an option in your profile settings, like "Do you wish to trade from inventory?" and have a yes or no option for it.  Then if it's set to "No" and someone selects to see matches from inventory, it would behave as though the inventory was empty for that person.  Might be easier said than done though.  Conversely, the option to check for inventory matches could also be set to show matches only from the inventory of the user looking for matches, as opposed to both users.  I know I found it a pain in the arse to have to constantly toggle between tradelist and inventory matching when I was looking for things.

It's even worse for me, as I DON'T have a trade list aside from my extra Unhinged cards, which nobody really wants anyway.  I do most of my trading from my inventory, so not having the option to narrow down the list makes it extremely tough to come up with trades.

Just out of curiosity, are you a game collector or just a gamer?  I just ask because I have a massive list of doubles for a bunch of systems, but nothing from your list.  There's also a few PS1/2 games I might part with from my personal collection, but again, nothing from your list.  I honestly don't need anything off your list either.  That said, my want list is just the cards I need for decks plus the Unhinged foils I still need for my collection, so I'm always willing to trade, assuming I have something you'd want.

Yeah, I wasn't looking at anything worth more than around $2-3 anyway, so the value would be there.  Also, if the cards are small enough to be loaded in a regular envelope and be sent via letter mail, you don't even need to worry about filling out customs documents, and it's under $3 to ship (albeit without tracking...although there's probably an option for that too).  Obviously you would use hard sleeves to protect them, but you can get a good number of them into an oversize envelope.  Bubble envelopes are overkill, since they won't prevent bending and just make the package thicker, which could end up making the envelope thicker than the little slot they use to determine if it will go letter mail or not.  Anyway, I'll propose a trade when I get home from work and we'll go from there smile

If you're willing to work a deal with a Canadian, I'll happily propose a trade with you.  Found a few cards not on my wishlist and am sure we can come to an agreement.  I can also provide an extra playset or two of Darksteel Citadel for future decks, since you say you love it and I have over 50 of them (bought a LOT of Darksteel back in the day tongue ).  Let me know and I'll work up an offer smile

Shot you a proposal, sort of...didn't hit "Propose" yet because I'm curious if you have any other cards I need.  If not, that trade works for me if it works for you.

I have:
2x Toil // Trouble
2x Weapon Surge
2x Dangerous Wager

Also, if you can wait a couple weeks or so, I'll be buying a couple boxes of cards at my local game store next weekend, so I'll likely pull the rest as well.  If not, I'm sure there's a few random cards I can snag from your trade list to make a fair swap (only have two on my want list, and one is far more expensive than the cards you want).  Let me know if you want to work something out (I do live in Canada, in case that's an issue).

Interesting question.  What I think would happen is that the persist triggers immediately when the Archmage dies, before the Pod's ability goes on the stack, meaning the Pod's ability resolves first, then the Persist ability, as per "last in, first out."  I may be mistaken on that though...it really depends when exactly the Persist ability goes on the stack.

A Panoptic Mirror is another viable option for Temporal Mastery.  I have a friend who runs that with a Time Warp...if he knew about a similar card that he could put in that deck to give him more chances to pull the combo off, he'd take it in a heartbeat...just saying (for no real reason).

It's pretty much Time Warp with a higher mana cost that has Miracle to offset it.  I actually think it's a bit better in that regard, since Miracle could be used in conjunction with Scry effects (or various tutors) to make sure it's the first card drawn on a turn.  At worst I see it hanging around Time Warp's price.

Discard first, then mana.

The Lion's Eye Diamond is best used for activated abilities.  My favorite is an infinite combo with Grindstone and Painter's Servant.

First turn: Play Swamp and Lion's Eye.  Tap swamp for Dark Ritual.  Use the mana for Grindstone and Painter's Servant.  Sacrifice the Lion's Eye to pay for the Grindstone's activation.  Instant win.  That said, a 5 card combo rarely pops up on the first turn, but it's definitely sweet when it does!

I have two that I'd part with, but I didn't see anything in either your trade list or your inventory.  Since you're new, maybe you just haven't listed everything?  Anyway, if you're interested in dealing with someone from the Great White North, we might be able to work something out if you have anything on my wishlist.

I'd say JAM045's suggestion is bang on...if you're going to splash a third color, you need enough to ensure drawing the land you need to play it.  Either run a couple more Mountains or a full set of Evolving Wilds to ensure you can get that lone mountain out.  Also, with only one, land destruction would make for up to three dead cards in the current build (not counting sideboard).  Your best bet is to remove the three cards with red and the lone mountain and add multiples of a few of those one-off cards.  From there, the best advice is to playtest the deck and see how it works, then remove cards you don't use often in favor of multiples of the ones you do.

The deck is legal, there is no size limit.  However, the deck needs multiples.  Have you played with this at all?  It could be okay with some modification, but this deck would get killed in a Legacy event.  There is no reason for it to be 78 cards.  In any case, you either need tutors to get the cards you need, or you need multiple copies of cards to get some consistency in the deck...or possibly even both.  There's a few cards on the list that are situational and should either be cut or sideboarded.  For example, Balthor the Defiled is a great card for a Barbarian tribal deck.  The fact that only roughly 1/3 or so of your creatures are affected by Balthor makes me wonder why he's in there in the first place.  As it is, I'm not sure what it is you're going for here, but you need some major work to make it into a competitive Legacy deck outside of a casual format.

Edit: Why did I say Balthor the Defiled?  I meant Balthor the Stout.  I blame being in a rush this morning before work tongue

Copper Gnomes and Braids, Conjurer Adept are the ones that would work best for you.  Braids could be even more interesting if you can get Teferi's Veil on her...she'll phase out when she attacks, meaning your opponent won't benefit, and she phases back in before your upkeep.  Worst case scenario is that she gets killed, but there's plenty of ways to prevent her untimely demise tongue

Note that these suggestions will involve a hefty increase in price, so they will be somewhat costly to implement:

1 - Switch Evolving Wilds for Marsh Flats.  The Wilds fetch the land in a tapped state, while the Flats brings it into play untapped and ready to use that turn.  It doesn't seem like much, but in Legacy that makes a HUGE difference.
2 - Switch Orzhov Guildgate for any of Isolated Chapel, Fetid Heath, or Tainted Field.  Again, playing a land tapped can make a HUGE difference.  With the Chapel, as long as you have a basic land it is a simple dual land; the Heath can be used for mana fixing if needed, or for colorless if the fixing isn't.  The Fields are the worst choice, but still a viable one.  Of course, Scrubland is the best black-white dual land, and can even be fetched by Marsh Flats/Evolving Wilds, but are much more expensive than the other options listed.  Also, you can use more than one of those options, just switch out basic lands in place...but make sure there's a few basics for the fetch lands to get.

Beyond that, I'm not really noticing what the primary goal of the deck is.  You have a ton of cards with only one copy, which makes consistency a tough thing to accomplish, so I might be able to help a bit more with the rest of the deck if I knew what cards were integral to it and which are expendable.  Once that's done, we'll work out your best options and tweak the mana pool a bit more (once there's a black-white ratio worked out).

If you're wanting to make a sideboard for a Modern deck, shouldn't the deck you're asking for be Modern-legal? Field of Souls kills it's Modern legality man tongue  That said, I don't have any ideas...I'd need to see how the deck plays out to know what is needed...I have a tough time visualizing what it should do when it's not a deck I built myself tongue

Well, looking it over, if you're dying by turn 5, you either need defense or a way to ramp your mana.  My first suggestion would be to add four Isolated Chapel to the mix to help with the colored mana requirements.  Soul's Attendant, Soul Warden or Tundra Wolves.  First Strike will keep the Wolves alive when it blocks another weenie, and the Warden/Attendant provide life gain, helping you stay alive a bit longer.  Gold Myr is a two-drop that can help you ramp your white mana, and Star Compass can help with both colors.  Oath of Lieges might help, but it works for your opponent too, so it might not be the best choice (just figured I'd mention it).

Looking it over though, I'm wondering if including black at all is really the way to go.  There are far better options to make this a mono-white deck so you can ramp up to the six mana required to cast Barren Glory, especially since you could always use a Panoptic Mirror to cast the Spites.  The biggest issue I see is getting the Spites in hand in order to imprint it, but something like Scroll Rack could help with that issue.  Not sure whether it's the right way to take it, but it's something to consider anyway.

Anyway, focus on increasing your mana production, and go from there.  If you want to keep it black/white, the Isolated Chapels are a must, especially if Scrubland is out of your budget.  I think the deck is sound in principle, it's just solving the issues presented.

Step 1: More mana production.
Step 2: Better creatures...the one-drops you put in don't suit the deck.
Step 3: Figure out what can be cut to accommodate the alterations.

Yeah i think i might take the wrangler out of the deck. He was not my favorite card to have in there, I just had 4 of him lol. I thought i had parallel lives but i cant seem to find it..... Hmm.

If you have any Doubling Seasons you can use that in it's place, but it costs one more mana than Parallel Lives does, not to mention being far more expensive to buy.  Since you don't really have a need for counters, the extra mana and monetary costs aren't worth it, but yeah, if you have any, they'll fill the slot until you can swap them out.

I would consider adding Parallel Lives and Crucible of Worlds to the deck.  The Crucible would allow you to sacrifice a land to the Squirrel Wrangler on a turn that you don't draw a land and still allow you to play that land on that turn and not mess up your mana curve. Parallel Lives should be obvious tongue

Yeah, it's looking good to me so far.  You'll definitely need to play a few games to see what works and what doesn't, as well as what issues the deck might have.  Keep us posted with how it works out smile

You could use the Notes section instead of the comments as well, since that can be modified at will.

A cursory glance also showed you have 2 Demonic Tutors in the deck.  If you're playing casual it should be okay, but the card is restricted in Vintage.  I know my casual group keeps their decks legal for Vintage (with the occasional exception of an occasional Ashnod's Coupon thrown in for fun).  If they're okay with you running a deck that wouldn't be legal in any format, there shouldn't be an issue there, but I'd make sure before you play it.

Funny you mention that Paul, I'm actually working on organizing mine into sets.  Putting a playset of each card in a binder sorted numerically by set, with anything over four getting stored in a box.  That way, when I need a card for a deck, I just have to look in binders until I find them all.  So far I've started with my Mirrodin block cards, and am working outward from there one binder at a time.  Trying to get a block and a core set in each binder, although if I can get more than one block in a binder I totally will to save space tongue
