I've got foothills, rattleclaws, and rabblemasters out the yin yang.  Open a trade and I'll dig through your lists.

Your mana base is going to detract from the Serra Ascendents, making them harder to get online.  I'm not sure what you're gaining is worth what you're losing.

That being said, if you're going to splash black anyway, I'd recommend Lingering Souls and Inquisition of Kozilek.

Two down, one to go!

Three rangers and my soul sisters deck is complete.  I've been having a hell of a time finding these, help me out!

Oops, forgot Marital Coup is also a wipe, and I just plain missed the rebirth.  It was past my bedtime when I posted that. tongue

I will also say that Mycoloth, while it seems good, can really screw you over if it gets removed before you get any tokens out of him.

TBH, I'm not really sure what to value it at.  Make an offer, and we can go from there.

I got this thing in a trade awhile ago, and now I've replaced it in my deck, and I'm looking to unload it.  At first glance, it doesn't actually look that bad, but when you get closer, you'll notice the creasing, and the nick on left side.  It's fine for EDH, or even FNM, but it's a little sketchy for REL level play - which is what it is mainly used for.

Unfortunately, pictures are in potato quality, but have at it.  http://imgur.com/a/SiePT

While I don't normally cross formats, I will entertain offers including standard cards for this.

First off is a shocking lack of Doubling Season.  Seriously, run that.  Also, Lightning Greaves so Rhys can get to work faster, and with less disruption.

Trostani is a good fit here, as her life gain is relevant, while still being able to produce more creatures for you.

Also, with a deck like this, you're probably gonna want more than one board wipe.  Austere Command is a good fit.

That's all I can think of now, it's late.

I do understand the appeal of Fanatic, but there just isn't that much devotion to be had in a deck like this.  The other big problem with him, is that he costs four to drop.  God forbid you start the game with two in hand, and never even get to actually cast him.

With the BTE, while it can be an essentially 'free' creature, it's not that good of a creature for this deck.  It's real job is to generate devotion, which it does pretty well (I play Devotion to Boros in standard) - but - a vanilla 2/2 for two in RDW just doesn't cut the mustard.  A lot of times, you'll be casting it, and having the mana empty from your pool because you have nothing to spend it on.  While it can chain out into dropping a Fanatic for 7 or 8, it's just not consistent enough to rely on, and to give 8 slots in your deck to.

Flame slash is a pretty good removal spell, but it is a sorcery, and it can only target creatures - which makes a dead draw in a lot of scenarios.  I might keep them in the sideboard, but one extra damage isn't really worth all the drawbacks in my opinion.

Honestly, another card to consider is Young Pyromancer.  You'll be surprised how effective YP can be with a good burn suite at your disposal.

Fanatic of Mogis isn't actually going to do very well in this deck, as it will be hard for you to generate devotion with such small, inexpensive creatures.  Consider instead Flames of the Blood Hand which will deal usually as much damage as the fanatic would, is cheaper, and also has the upside of preventing lifegain.

Flame Slash can't be aimed at a player, so it's not really a good fit, either.  You should probably replace those with Hellspark Elementals.

Since you should be ditching the Fanatics (unless you want to restructure this deck as a midrangy kind of thing, which will mean almost a complete rebuild), you should also ditch the Burning Trees in favor of skullcrack, once again, more damage, less cost, and prevents lifegain which can wreck a burn deck.

Trying to build Mono G Devotion, need a bunch of the pieces - most notably:

Nissas
Coursers
Chords
Eidolons
Tactics
World Eaters

I have a bunch of stuff.  We should trade.

Hit me up if we can work something out on the Nissa.

Elvish Archdruid is a must have for an elf ramp deck.  They're cheap, and they buff all of your guys, and are capable of making crazy amounts of mana.

Harmonize is definitely a solid choice when you need to dig up something to use all of that mana on.

You might also consider some type of anthem effect for when you don't draw one of your bombs so you can make all of your little guys more formitable.  Something like Door of Destinies or Coat of Arms.

Replace the Satyrs with Viridian Emissary, same cost, better body, and better ramping.  Also fits the elf theme better.

Essence Warden might be good in the sideboard against aggro decks as she can gain a good chunk of life.

Another good cheaper finisher for you might be Bellowing Tanglewurm.  Alot of times, you can swing in for lethal with only that if they don't have green or artifact blockers.

I totally would if you didn't want the ones that I prefer to play.  tongue

Interested in your Damnation.

I have 3 of the birds, 9 of the harpies, and a few minotaurs.

I also have some stuff from your wishlist.  Open up a trade if you think we can work something out.  (I'm fine trading to Canada)

I have banisher priest and a few other odds and ends from your wishlist.  Sending you a trade request. smile

Interested in Snaps and Batterskull.  Lemme know if you see anything you like.

Bumping for 3/5.

Please don't make me have to buy these things. D:

Honestly, I feel I'm a pretty good pilot.  I've read up on the right way to play them, and watched some videos to get my head around them.  I've played 42 games against various decks with the UR version, and won 37 of them.  So far, I've only played 12 games with the Patriot version, and I've won 10 of them.

So far, they both seem to fare pretty well - and this is against some top tier decks (and some jank, too tongue).  I can't speak for the skills of the other pilots, but most of them seemed competent enough.

He was only $8 or so before the reprint (assuming you're talking about the planeswalker).  The thing that keeps his value down is the fact that he costs so much (mana wise) and he's in three colors which can make him tricky to cast.

Just a few points I noticed:

Firedancer and Pyromancer should be upped to four.  Take out the Electromancers and Staticasters, as most of your spells won't see a huge benefit from the reduced costs the Staticasters just don't really fit the rest of the deck.

Honestly, you'd get more value out of counter-magic than voyages end.  Up dissolve to 4, and I might even add some syncopates.  Other than that, up the burn spells to four ofs, and get to cookin'!

So recently I've been doing quite a bit of playtesting of different Splinter Twin builds on Untap.in (which is an amazing playtesting site, btw).  As a result, I have found myself trying to build a legitimate Splinter Twin deck.  Before I get too invested in it, I had a few questions for you fine folks.

First off, if I am to build Splinter Twin, which build is more competitive?  I mean PTQ competitive.  I've never done an a large scale tournament before, and I'd like to go.  I don't just want to drop a bunch of money on a Jund build or something like that which isn't very fun to play (to me at least), but I at least want to stand a snowballs' chance.  So there are two main builds for this deck:

U/R Twin - http://www.mtgtop8.com/event?e=6779&d=238957

Patriot Twin - http://www.mtgtop8.com/event?e=6698&d=238476

There's also a RUG version that I really don't want to play which basically just shoves Goyfs into the UR list.  tongue

Of those two lists, which seems more competitive?  The UR seems to be able to assemble the combo a lot faster, but the Patriot list seems a lot more adaptable.  Mind you, those are just sample lists and my finished product won't be exactly like either.

My last question:  Are there any other similarly awesome/competitive combo decks I should look at before committing to Twin?  I think Twin is really, really fun to play, but that doesn't mean that I'm not open to other options.
