LSV's Notes
Game plan: Find Life from the Loam, using Gamble if necessary. Dredge and keep playing lands, using Mox Diamond and Exploration for speed. Finish the opponent by copying Dark Depths with Thespian's Stage, which makes a 20/20 Marit Lage token.

While the game plan is simple (play lands), the lines of play are anything but. Let's take a look at some tips and tricks:

- Almost the entire deck works from the graveyard. Punishing Fire gets dredged and brought back by Grove of the Burnwillows, and every land is fetchable via Loam. Gamble for Loam is especially strong because you don't mind discarding Loam.

- Sheltered Thicket can be found with fetchlands, then you can Wasteland or Ghost Quarter it so you can Loam it back and start cycling.

- The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale plus Wasteland / Ghost Quarter is your most effective anti-creature plan.

- Glacial Chasm is your emergency button, and is easiest to loop if you have Life from the Loam and Exploration or Manabond.

- Knowing how many basic lands your opponent has is critical so you know how effective Ghost Quarter is.

- You generally sideboard out Manabond, and Punishing Fire against non-creature decks, plus

This is a tricky deck to play, and you can actually watch me learn all about it in this video. I make the mistakes so you don't have to, and the games in this video ended up being very sweet.

Lands has been a ton of fun, and likely what I'm battling with at Grand Prix Seattle next month (unless I dredge up something even sweeter).
