https://www.mtgsalvation.com/forums/the-game/commander-edh/multiplayer-commander-decklists/216289-cthulhu

This deck is headed up by Cthulhu, or Wrexial as he is more commonly known. The deck employs discard and mill stategies in an attempt to get my opponents to throw some tastey instants and sorceries (Which represent the dreams Cthulhu uses to torture people in The Call of Cthulhu) into their graveyards. I tried to make most of the cards have a "Lovecraftian" theme to them, but I know that didn't necessarily happen. For example, I thought Increasing Confusion could represent Cthulhu damaging one's mind more and more.

Card Selection:

-Chancellor of the Spires - The Chancellor is in this deck mainly because she functions as a Cthulhu the turn she hits the battlefield. But she also has the potential to throw some cards into each of my opponents' graveyards if she happens to be in my opening hand, which would really benefit Cthulhu.
From a flavor standpoint, I can't really justify her without coming up with something cheesy like "She is one of Cthulhu's offspring, and as a result, she is similar to him, yet not as powerful."

-Dreamscape Artist and Walking Atlas - These two creatures can help me ramp into Cthulhu, which can definitely impact the game. Dreamscape Artist is a Blue repeatable Harrow with a body and is super-efficient if you ask me. Walking Atlas is just cool because Wizards messed up when printing it, and as a result, it is missing Artifact in its card types.
From a flavor standpoint, I can't justify the Atlas, but Dreamscape Artist is easy. The Artist is one of Cthulhu's lesser spawns and it is proping the minds of people (my hand), gradually gaining more power for Cthulhu (in the form of lands).

-Perplex and Induce Paranoia - These two counter spells have the potential to throw some nice instants and sorceries into my opponents graveyards, so I thought they were a natural fit.
Flavor-wise, they are similar to Increasing Confusion in that they are supposed to represent Cthulhu weakening your mind.

-Dark Ritual - Like the Dreamscape Artist and the Walking Atlas, Dark Ritual is included in this deck in hopes that it'll help me ramp into something cool or Cthulhu himself.
Flavor-wise, Dark Ritual represents Cthulhu-worshipping preists attempting to summon their master.

-Desecrated Earth - I like this card. If you ask me, it is a quality two-for-one. Too bad I can't justify it from a flavor standpoint.
EDIT: A friend of mine has helped me come up with a flavor justification for this card. He says it could represent an area that has been tainted by the Cthulhu Cult. I like it.

If you have any recommendations at all, feel free to recommend them to me. Also if you happen to have any more "Lovecraftian" flavor ideas in mind for cards, I would appreciate it so much if you'd share those. Especially if you happen to come up with a crature I could slot into this deck that could represent the Dunwich Horror, as that is one of my favorite H.P. Lovecraft tales.
