There's a ton of spice out there from recent sets.
Too lazy to put all the swords in and more wipes/removal.
Same for protective/evasion granting auras a la Spirit Mantle/Spectral Ward if you don't want to limit yourself to artifacts.
Same for the possibility of extra combat steps, especially ones that can happen/be used more than once.
You can probably side in some combos of varying jank into the deck; I'm thinking land destruction stuff, Myr Retriever/Junk Diver/Scrap Trawler types of loops, various artifact lockdowns with Clock of Omens etc, Sensei's/Quicksmith Genius stacking and maybe Stuffy Doll shenanigans.
You can definitely have a sizeable legendary package in the deck and run a Thalia's Lancers.
This can secretly be a superfriends deck.
Permanents that tutor are technically not card negative and repeatable  rummaging is good enough filtering.
Stax can draw you in a certain direction deckbuilding but I still think that token production should be prioritized there. I would probably cut down on nonbasics so you can support a Blood Moon/Magus of the Moon and up the mana rock count to slide in some land destruction (although you could do that without dedicating more resources to a more stax-oriented build). Cards that cause your opponent to have things enter tapped are nice from a tempo point of view regardless.
How many artifacts you actually run probably determines how many artifact synergistic spells you can play.
