Notes
We run our "Commander" Cube with Brawl rules (meaning 59 card decks + commander, 30 life, no commander damage). We do not limit ourselves to the Brawl card pool.
The Commanders are listed in the sideboard. Different groups handle commander drafting in various ways. Our method is to randomly assign a group of Commanders (or Rochester draft them, time permitting) prior to drafting the rest of the "packs" normally.
8-9 players = 3 commanders each
6-7 players = 4 commanders each
5 players = 5 commanders each
4 players = 6 commanders each
3 or less = 7 commanders each
Each player then receives four 15-card packs for the normal draft.
This method expedites drafting and building as well as game times, allowing us to play more and see more of the cards we took the time to draft.
For added fun, we also give each participant an Agent of Aquisitions which they may utilize once during the draft to snag all the cards remaining in a pack. If playing with Planechase, we also have fractured powerstones for each player which they may include (or not) as they see fit.
