SPELLSEEKER COMBO
--------------------------------------------------------
https://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/wizards-chess-1/
{2UB} mana available.
Cast Spellseeker {-2U}.
[ IT, SS ] {B}
Resolve Spellseeker, finding Culling the Weak. Cast, sacrificing Spellseeker (net {BBB}).
[ IT ] {BBBB}
Resolve Inalla’s trigger {-1}, finding Unearth.
[ - ] < SS_tok > {BBB}
Cast Unearth {-B}, targeting Spellseeker. Inalla and Spellseeker trigger.
[ IT, SS ] < SS, SS_tok > {BB}
Resolve Spellseeker trigger, finding Burnt offering. Cast on Spellseeker {-B, +BRR}
[ IT ] < SS_tok > {B BRR}
Resolve Inalla trigger {-1}, finding Finale of Promise.
[ - ] < SS_tok, SS_tok > {BRR}
Cast Finale of Promise, targeting Culling the Weak and Unearth. Cast Unearth first {0}, then sacrifice token with Culling {0}.
[ IT, SS ] < SS, SS_tok > {BBBB}
Pay for IT {-1}. SS tutors for Entomb. IT {-1} tutors for Reanimate.
[ - ] < SS, SS_tok > {BBB}
Entomb Scholar of the Ages {-B}, then return it with Reanimate {-B}.
[ IT, SOTA ] < SS, SS_tok, Scholar > {B}
Resolve Scholar’s trigger, returning Entomb and Burnt Offering. Cast Burnt Offering on Scholar, and Entomb for Shallow Grave. {-B, +7, -B}
[ IT ] < SS, SS_tok, Scholar > {6}
Resolve Inalla's trigger to return Burnt Offering and Shallow Grave. Now loop Shallow Grave and Burnt Offering to make infinite black and red mana and infinite hasty scholars. Can also loop Entomb to add every instant and sorcery from library to hand.
--------------------------------------------------------
INFINITE MANA WITH SIGIL TRACER + DRAMATIC REVERSAL
--------------------------------------------------------
Sigil Tracer on the battlefield and mana rocks that generate more than 1U, cast DR, use Sigil Tracer to copy. DR copy resolves and untaps mana rocks and creatures. Repeat.
--------------------------------------------------------
INSTANT-SPEED WIN WITH TEFERI + SIGIL TRACER + DRAMATIC REVERSAL + 2 WIZARDS ON BATTLEFIELD / ONE WIZARD IN HAND
--------------------------------------------------------
(Expensive, but instant speed. Less expensive if Sigil Tracer is already on the battlefield.)
Cast Teferi. Pay for Inalla trigger.
< Teferi, Teferi copy >
Cast Sigil Tracer. Pay for Inalla copy.
< Teferi, Teferi copy, Sigil Tracer, Sigil Tracer copy >
Cast Dramatic Reversal. Hold priority. With original DR on the stack, use Sigil Tracer to copy & generate infinite mana.
(Unfortunately you can't reserve the Inalla triggers and pay with the mana generated by DR.)
With original DR still on stack, cast Inalla.
[ DR ]
< Tef, Tef copy, ST, ST copy, Inalla >
This gives 5 wizards. We need 5 Wizards to activiate Inalla, and 2 to activate Sigil Tracer. So cast any wizard and pay for a copy.
[ DR ]
< Tef, Tef copy, ST, ST copy, Inalla, AnonWiz, AnonWiz copy >
Tap 5 wizards to use Inalla's ability. Hold priority and tap 2 to copy DR using Sigil Tracer's ability.
[ DR*, Inalla Drain, DR ]
DR resolves. Tap 5 to use Inalla's ability again; hold priority and copy DR again.
[ DR*, Drain, Drain, DR ]
Repeat.
--------------------------------------------------------
INFINITE DUALCASTERS ('SPLINTER TWIN') - 3URR
--------------------------------------------------------
(Top of stack is to the right)
Ghostly Flicker targeting anything; holding priority, cast Dualcaster. Stack DCM and Inalla triggers so DCM resolves first, copying GF. Target original DCM and (pain-free, untapped) land. (The first Inalla trigger may go unused, as this loop does not pay for the first trigger by itself.)
[ GF*, IT, GF ]
GF copy resolves. Land enters untapped, along with DCM. DCM and Inalla both trigger. DCM copies GF, targeting land and original DCM. Float a mana from the land that re-entered.
[ GF*, IT, IT, GF ] + {1}
As before, the GF copy resolves, the land and original DCM enter untapped, and DCM and Inalla trigger. Float {1} and use the original DCM trigger to copy GF again.
[ GF*, IT, IT, IT, GF ] + {2}
Repeat until we have {N} mana and N+1 Inalla triggers
[ GF*, IT, ..., IT, GF ] + {N}
Pay for N Inalla triggers to create N Dualcaster Mage tokens with haste.
--------------------------------------------------------
INSTANT-SPEED WIN WITH DUALCASTER & INALLA DRAIN BY COPYING OPPONENT'S DEMONIC TUTOR
--------------------------------------------------------
(Same as above, but with a different spell on the stack before the GF/DCM loop, we can do more things. With DT, we have a deterministic instant-speed win.)
DT - Demonic Tutor; DT* - Original DT; DCM - Dualcaster Mage; IT - Inalla Trigger; GF - Ghostly Flicker; EF - Essence Flux; top of the stack is to the right
An opponent casts DT:
[ DT* ]
You respond with DCM:
[ DT*, DCM ]
When DCM enters the battlefield you get to copy DT and you get an Inalla Trigger
[ DT*, DT, IT ]
Pay the {1} into IT to create another DCM who copies DT again.
[ DT*, DT, DT ]
Resolve the top two DTs (which you own) and find Ghostly Flicker and Essence Flux. Cast GF targeting anything really. It's never going to resolve.
[ DT*, GF ]
This is where you hold priority. If you let GF resolve here, GF will be in the graveyard when DCM returns to play, but we want it on the stack so we can copy it. Therefore, cast Essence Flux targeting DCM.
[ DT*, GF, EF ]
Now we let EF resolve, blinking DCM, copying GF (targeting DCM and a land) and putting an Inalla trigger on the stack (making sure the GF resolves first).
[ DT*, GF, IT, GF ]
The top GF now resolves, blinking DCM and doing the same step again.
[ DT*, GF, IT, IT, GF ]
And again
[ DT*, GF, IT, IT, IT, GF ]
As much as you'd like
[ DT*, GF, IT, ..., IT, GF ]
Because each GF blinks a land in addition to DCM, you're generating mana as you go. All those Inalla triggers are happily waiting to be fed {1} to create a copy of DCM. So we do so for the top trigger on the stack. The DCM clone that comes into play copies DT.
[ DT*, GF, IT, ..., IT, DT ]
Resolve the top DT and continue through as many ITs as you want, creating DCMs and copying DTs to 'draw' your deck. There will still be many ITs on the stack since you likely don't have an infinite sized library. Feel free to just create the copies and fail to find once your library is in hand.
[ DT*, GF ]
We've got Teferi in our deck or in the yard, so either cast him or Shallow Grave him into play.
[ DT*, GF, Teferi ]
Now your Wizards have flash, so you can cast them even though the stack isn't empty (and it isn't your turn!). So cast Inalla.
[ DT*, GF, Inalla ]
Remember, you've got a near infinite number of DCMs running around so you can just tap all of them to activate Inalla's drain ability to win on the spot.
--------------------------------------------------------
WANDERWINE PROPHETS
--------------------------------------------------------
First turn (requires {7UU})
--------------------------------------
Wanderwine Prophets ETBs and you get a "Champion a Merfolk" trigger and an Inalla trigger.
[ Champion, IT ] {-4UU}
Create a copy of WP and champion the original WP.
[ -empty- ] {-5UU}
The WP copy has haste. Attack, and when it deals damage, sacrifice it to take an extra turn. When the copy dies, the original WP returns and Inalla triggers again. Pay to make another copy and champion the original WP.
[ -empty- ] {-6UU}
At the end step, the Inalla copy will cease to exist, and the original WP will return and trigger Inalla again. Pay to make another copy.
[ -empty- ] {-7UU}
Since this most recent copy entered the battlefield during the end step, it won't leave until the next end step.
Extra turn (requires {2})
--------------------------------------
Attack with the copy. Sacrifice it. WP + Inalla trigger. Pay {1}.
Go to end step. Copy disappears. WP + Inalla trigger. Pay {1}. This copy survives to the next turn.
