I really wanted to have Nighthawk Scavenger be a big part of this deck. But even with it and two feed the swarms, black just couldn't collaborate with the Blue Green game plan and I was too often sad to see the strong but unplayable Black. Same with the flip spells. This is a deck that really needs its mana. Every kicker card is essentially a double Blue or double Green, and I think having that mana come in tapped hurt more than the spells ever helped. For the final game of the series, I sided out Zendikon and in Maddening Cacophony. Big fingers crossed here as Zendikon could theoretically give me a replay of a flip land and it's a beefy creature, but I seem to recall almost no successful use of it and I'm going to hope that another Kicker trigger will be more valuable.

It appears two of the Nahiri's Bindings from this pool are missing, so my physical collection is accurate, but I own 2 fewer than are shown in these decks.

    It's funny to think I wanted the Nighthawk in here. It's a cool card but with a pull so rediciously synergistic, it should have been obvious not to bother with it. Just one Naturalize and I think I could have dropped black all together. It was tenuous as it was, but the quality in UG dropped off dramatically, such that having the color problems juuuust might have been worth it. Curious how many games would be lost because of swamps vs won because of Feed the Swarm.

    The last game of the series played out exactly how I imagined the deck should be able to work and it was very exciting. Roost of Drakes on turn one. Very tense mid game where I had to struggle to survive into the "heaps of land" phase; from where Steven's deck shined to where mine did. Once that tipping point happened, kicked things making bonus things and bringing back more things to kick... it got beautifully out of controll.
