Notes
Permeating Mass is the hidden commander in this deck.
Buried Alive, Jarad's Orders, Behold the Beyond, Traverse the Ulvenwald, Exhume, and Fauna Shaman are all meant to get Permeating Mass into the hand or graveyard to get it onto the field. I know there are more tutors I could include in these colors, but some are more expensive than I prefer, and I wanted tutors that were still useful with Muldrotha's ability.
Once Permeating Mass is on the board, the multitude of clone effects are designed to make it stick around and keep corrupting my opponents' creatures. I can use the clones to copy Permeating Mass, but if the game needs it, I can copy my opponents' more powerful stuff as well. Even better, if a clone gets handled and sent to the graveyard, I can recur it as something different with Muldrotha's ability.
I'll admit that this deck is a little light in its "answers" package. Forbid is a great card in a deck like this because even after I've paid its buyback cost (discarding two cards), Muldrotha's ability lets me still cast them if they are permanents, which is most of the deck.
Echoing Decay and Echoing Truth have both worked as board wipes against token decks, but they are even better when I've made some of my opponents' creatures copies of my own Permeating Mass. Echoing Courage is a nice surprise to help my army of Permeating Masses stick around longer than planned after a big attack.
These colors are great for ramping, especially when the early ramp like Sakura-Tribe Elder and Viridian Emissary can be reused once Muldrotha is on the field.
