Made a few changes, primarily moving stuff from the sideboard that I seemed to want to bring in every single game 2. I removed the Trolls becuase of this switch to a more mid-rangey build. Garruk is now in the side, and I brought back the 2x Liliana with him to deal with the mirror and Bant Hexproof which is making a comeback. Sin Collector now in the main along with Acidic Slime and I upped my Resto count to 4x becuase of this. One Sever to the main and a second now on the side. Fiend Hunter seems to be in the main in other builds, and I may change to that, but for now it's in the side.

Tried this with Lingering Souls, didn't like getting stuck wtih fatties in hand wtih a Rites in the yard, so I switched back to trolls and took down a tournament with it that night after the changes.

Took down my third tournament in a row. I'm 23-3-1 in games in 12 rounds.

So much hate for this deck, lol. Caused me to modify the sideboard of my USA deck to run 3x rest in peace, 3x purify the grave. Played against this 60%+ of the time in the last 4 turnys :\

That's why I try to play mine a little bit differently and keep changing up my reanimation targets to try to stay ahead of it. I've won three tournaments with this so far, and we'll see if I can keep the streak going on Saturday....I see a lot of esper in my local meta, which is why I switched back to this from my own esper deck actually, I got sick of mirror matches ending in draws.

It's so strange to see it getting so much play, because you've seen I've been running reanimator since last October. The only real change I made was to cave and run the broken Thragtusk/Resto combo and add an Obzedat; it was too good to leave out on principle for the SCG Open a couple weeks ago. I always laugh when, inevitably, I win and am instantly accused of netdecking. Whatever you say pal, you won't believe me if I try to argue with that, but I just won so....yeah.

Yep. I've altered my USA sideboard heavily for this damn deck. Plus lastnight during the modern turny, we had *4* new people playtesting this, each one traded/bought all of the relevant cards. Which I'll be playing tonight, and sunday. I'm cool with this, because my sideboard now says "REANIMATE THIS". If they cant cycle stuff into/outof their graveyard. I'll 2/3/4 for 1 them every time on the angel, and their life total is irrelevant. Once I control the board, aurelia will destroy them at 10+dmg a turn. And god forbid I resolve a geist in this line. Hi, take 22dmg per combat? Kthx. <3 Hehe

Esper mirrors are brutal. You have to resolve a memory adept basically. My buddy usually does this by baiting them with a sphinx's revelation at their EoT. His logic? Let them tap out and rev for a million. My shit untaps, and then I slam adept with countermagic. to deal with planar clensing/dsphere/oring.

That's precisely why I just added Avacyn. She protects me from problematic board sweepers, plus I heard an 8/8 flier with vigilance is pretty good on its own. She helps in the mirror as well if a Craterhoof just won't get there on trample damage, if she's protecting me I won't lose all of my creatures to blocks, then next turn I resto on the hoof for a second round to end it.

Yup, I see no cavern of souls in here. Don't you think it'd be wise to have 1-2? Drop it on Angel, and/or beast?
• Scott | 12-Apr-2013 21:07
I plan to add them, but sadly I sold my set off to get the Verdant Catacombs for Melira, and I'm beyond broke right now.
• Scott | 12-Apr-2013 21:07
I also need one Vault of the Archangel.

If I could get you two caverns and a vault, would you flip a lili + Loxodon Smiter + Gideon (Eldrazi) for them?
• Scott | 12-Apr-2013 23:32
I can't do Liliana unfortunately, I do run both in my sideboard (plus she's just awesome and want to hold onto her for Modern in the future).
• Chris O&amp;#39;Neal | 12-Apr-2013 23:40
No worries =) Figured i'd ask, and yeah shes broken in all formats. Thankfully cavern is too.
• Scott | 12-Apr-2013 23:45
Yeah she's a keeper. I got my 2 back when they were at 20 bucks last October. I did take her out of play for a while, but I'm glad I didn't cave and trade her off.
• Chris O&amp;#39;Neal | 13-Apr-2013 00:39
Between Snapcasters, Lilis, Geists, Restos, Abrupt Decays, Deathrites, blind obediences, and some sigardas, I've been fortunate enough to be able to trade almost all the crap standard stuff into things that hold value.

God its a headache though. Thats why I'm not really trading on here right now. My inventory is *so* fucked.
• Scott | 13-Apr-2013 00:44
Same here. I had a few bad experiences, and at the same time I completely ran out of trade fodder. I recently got a sealed FTV Legends in a collection I bought of craigslist, but of course I want to keep the valuable Kiki-Jiki and Ulamog for my cube. Just interviewed for a new job, though, so once that hits I should have funds to keep going. Mostly just waiting for Modern Masters, though.
• Chris O&amp;#39;Neal | 13-Apr-2013 02:28
Sadly I won't be selling modern masters product most likely, but I hear ya. I can't wait for dragons maze.
• Scott | 13-Apr-2013 02:42
Since I'm mostly getting out of Standard (maybe keep ONE deck going per season for local weekend events), I really only want a few cards from the set. I know I want the Selesnya mythic, but that's about it so far. I need MM to get a lot of staples since I've only been playing for a year and a half.
