Notes

General:Sliver Overlord

Five color deck with a strictly budget mana base.

The core strategy is to use the variety of mana ramp spells to manipulate all five basic land types into play, get your general into play, and search for slivers to protect your board state, cast, repeat until stable.

Getting Vedalken Orrery(or)Quick Sliver and Seedborn Muse online together is an example of how the deck can search & cast answers quickly even in a group game.

Ultimately, if you want to win using combo instead of combat, fetch Acidic Sliver, Sliver Queen, and Basal Sliver(or)Ashnod's Altar together.  Then all you need is Heartstone(or)Mana Echoes(or)Doubling Season(or)Parallel Lives for infinite slivers & Infinite mana, which is also infinite damage.

If you prefer creature combat for the win, get infinite slivers, fetch Mirror Entity (it's a sliver you know), and make one HUGE alpha strike at the whole table, and pray they haven't started using fog yet.

Those items are pretty much the shell that makes the deck tick, the rest of the cards I'm constantly replacing with fun and weird stuff to distract my opponents with while setting up my final win-con.  Example: the Sunforger only has 5 legal targets in the whole deck, three of which are just charms.. but boy, does it distract your opponents from the real threats.
