What about stuff that does well in graveyards?  Pyrewild Shaman is the best thing that pops in my head that you'd be like "yeah I can drop this into the graveyard" and not get hurt in the feels.

yeah i was thinking about maybe something with flashback or some creatures that you want in graveyard. unfortunately there isn't much there. krosan reclamation can get creatures back into the deck for mwonvulis to pull out, and devil's play can flashback for an expensive fireball...

any other suggestions for stuff i might want in the grave?

Wait, why do you want stuff in the grave? Cream of the Crop works well with combos. Also, Paleoloth seems like a good fit and gives you choice.

Flashback sorceries - roar o da wurm.  Unearth stuff like Hell's Thunder?  Or maybe even a bonehoard or Splinterfight?  Anger?  Brawn? Charmbreaker Devil?  Countryside Crusher?  Genesis?  Firewing Phoenix?  Hostility and 'shuffle instead of graveyard' stuff?  Kessig Cagebreakers?

Or things with Morbid, since most likely -something- is going to die every one of your turns.

I dont get why you want graveyard interaction here?
          • Your Mother | 26-Dec-2013 19:22
You don't want it, but every time Guild Fued goes off, one creature hits the battlefield and two go into the grave.  Might as well make the stuff that is going into the grave worth something, instead of just sitting there.

Guild Feud lets you get the best of the top 3 cards, not the top 3 creatures? With this much beef, is anything going to be missed lol??
              • Greg DeSimone | 26-Dec-2013 20:01
you are probably right, even though it seems to waste cards by not utilzing them in the grave, it's really not a waste to have them there, and I'd rather not cut down the beef in order to enable some secondary gravyard action. anger/brawn seem like the most likely options here.

Hell's Thunder, too.  Good enough on its own, easily recast, doesn't mess with Ruric Thar.  I think you can cut some manadorks, mulgraff, ragebeast, and tune it up a notch.
                  • Greg DeSimone | 26-Dec-2013 21:37
i like the mana dorks, without ramp it'll take a long time to get guild feud out
                    • Your Mother | 27-Dec-2013 14:53
I wonder if the wallmana would do better?  It'd have to prove in testing, but an Axebane and Overgrown Battlement might survive a fuedflip better?
                      • Greg DeSimone | Edited 27-Dec-2013 18:17
surviving is for pussies, the mana dorks don't need to survive in order to ramp me, and in viridan emissary's case, its better if he doesn't

I also am debating putting more caldera hellions in for board wipe, so i think i like something that enters the battlefield and then I don't have to worry about them.

Its nice your opponent goes first. If they wiff, you can play whatever is best.
