Astral Slide decks used to be a thing in standard/extended. Dunno if that's where you got the idea from or not, but there's probably a ton of decklists/primers you could steal from.

  Life From The Loam would also be good in this. It's somewhat more afordable after the MM reprint.

      This seems cool in an artifact based deck with cards like Lodestone Golem, Blade Splicer typecards Locket of Yesterdays Fluctuator Helm of Awakening. Also Bloodbraid Elf would cascade into pretty much everything here.

        Door of Destinies too and I dont think having to cast would have much of a draw back if you could cycle for free?
