I see what you're trying to do with the deathrites, but looking at it, they along with the evolving wilds and terramorphic expanses have made this deck much worse. The deck runs much better with 4 elvish mystics and 8 forests. This is just too slow. Think about how you want turns to go. Turn 1: forest mystic. Turn 2: forest, archdruid. Turn 3:piper, etc. Evolving wilds and expanses are just too slow and clunky. If you wanted to run deathrites for real in this deck, you would need to run 8 real fetches, and that would be silly in a mono g deck.
Yeah I know I was just playing with it. I only dropped those lands in to see what it would look like with fetches.
Lol. I figured. It just started looking really inefficient all of a sudden. DRS is a great card, but he doesn't really fit. I don't think he really fits in my deck either, unless I was running at least 8 fetches.
Elvish mystic tic is what this deck needs though, or, if you're tired of looking at elvish mystics, and want a more badass looking elf, sub in some llanowar elves.
Llanowar Elves are definitely badass, but I don't hate the Mystic. He does very well.
They are functionally identical, I think.
