I'm not quite sure what you mean by dead, there are thousands of active users. As meldon44 said, the forums are not really as used as they used to since most people discuss things on other forums/reddit etc. That does not mean there are no trades or users smile

- imported Crimson Vow prerelease promos
- imported missing The List cards
- imported missing Secret Lair Drop Series cards
- imported missing Double-Faced Placeholder cards for Midnight Hunt (only one was imported)
- marked Worldfire as unbanned and Golos, Tireless Pilgrim as banned in Commander

Guys let's chill with the crypto talk here.

Yes, I implemented bitcoin support 6 years ago, almost nobody used it to pay for premium, then I removed it, end of story. Not coming back.

Crimson Vow Commander set cards don't seem to have legalities set up, not sure if this is just on my end or already addressed.

Should be fixed now, thank you for reporting the issue.

Thanks, Sebi!

I noticed on some of my foils that they now have a 'foil etched' emblem that I can not get rid of. I noticed this on Vial Smasher, even though I have the commander copy (but think it's because it is available in a Commander Legends etched foil version). That said, glad you're refining the way that etched foils are labeled in inventories smile

Thanks for reporting the issue, should be fixed now.

For pricing, I fixed various issues with overpriced cards, especially commons and some rarer older ones, should be much more reasonable now. Please do use the "Report pricing issue" button on the card page if you see egregious errors in pricing, I am keeping a closer eye on the reports now.

- fixed collector number of Viscera Seer to 801 in Secret Lair, was overlapping "legit" collector numbers
- imported Double-Faced Card Placeholder for Midnight Hunt
- started to add "notes" to many special printings, to be able to see quicker that there is something special about a printing at a glance, so you can now see the little note icon for some Showcase, Extended Art, Borderless, Retro Frame, etc cards
- imported missing Wolf // Emblem: Lolth token to AFR double sided extras

later edit: this is not actually fixed yet, will do tomorrow: "- fixed some issues with searching in rules texts of split cards, should work properly again, and the search will find the cards if they match the "back" face too"

They do show up for me. Perhaps it's something with the black theme you are using? Is that a plugin?

Yeah this is confusing. It's actually not a bug, but it's spelled differently: "Vampires' Vengeance" not "Vampire's Vengeance".

Hello,

The email should have a link to whatever place you have a new message on, be it on a trade, or support case.

If it's a direct message that you received from someone, those are email-only, so you just reply to the email to continue the conversation there. This is indeed a confusing feature and I might need to change it at some point smile

- fixed collectors number of Secret lair Crash Through to 591 (was 594)
- imported Crimson Vow Commander cards
- imported various missing Secret Lair cards

Hello,

I've added the main crimson vow set, tokens and art series cards today. Still to come promos, commander and pricing, will look at getting that in in the following days.

Also a couple of more recent fixes:
- fixed Jeweled Lotus to have correct cmc of 0 (not 1)
- fixed duplicated collector numbers in WPN/Gateway edition
- fixed edition sorting problem with Adventures in the Forgotten Realms cards
- fixed Jumpstart cards not being listed as legal in Historic format

I pretty much already wrote the changelist in the topic title, but here goes anyway smile

* Imported the 3 japanese promo Orb of Dragonkind promos for Love your Lgs
* Added the Innistrad: Midnight Hunt art series cards
* added the 10 cards in the Pioneer Challenge decks

Also added the option to set a partner commander on commander decks, if the commander has the "partner" keyword.

Sorry about that. Fixed now.

* fixed some lands that were showing up with converted mana cost in the "0" column of mana graphs
* imported Mystery Booster Playtest Cards 2021
* imported JP promo Fiendish Duo
* imported WPN promos for 2021
* added Zariel, Archduke of Avernus // Devil and Lolth, Spider Queen // Spider to the afr tokens

Just to add, my other fear is that they will begin to print cards in promo packs that break this rule of a single printing per card, and then we will have to distinguish the printing via a note or something... "Ikoria version" versus "THB version".

I would also like a single edition, I hate the uncetainty on each import, about which printing came out in which promo pack first etc. The only fear is that this would grow to thousands of printings, making the edition page considerably larger than all other editions, unusable, and I will need to paginate it or something...

Due to some fixes and improvements the tooltips should be snappier, the further away from Europe you are, the bigger should be the difference smile. Let me know if you see any change.  (I have fixed and improved some caching issues for the mouseover tooltips and most other static assets, and they are properly served through a CDN now too, hence lower latency for the Americas / Asia etc. Waiting for the caches to warm up for a while, we'll see how effective this is in a couple of days)

* Imported missing The List cards.
* Imported missing pro tour related promos - qualifiers and JP promos

Still need to import the Art Series, and I'm a bit behind on support tickets, but getting there!

Many of the newer double faced cards did not have a mana cost at all and some of the old ones only listed the cost on the front, making it hard to search and filter for them. Some split cards also had a wrong converted mana cost. These issues should now be fixed. Let me know if you see any issues with the changes.

A couple of other fixes:
* Added non-sideboard Disenchant version of 1997 world champ deck
* added AFR spider // icingdeath frost tongue and AFR 7/19 spider // zariel archduke of avernus
* marked Invigorate, Chatterstorm, Sojourner's Companion as banned in Pauper
* fixed an issue breaking facebook login for some users

Sorry about the issues guys. Weirdly there's not much load on the server and I don't see anything directly problematic at first glance. Also suspicious that most reports of slowness are from the U.S. and since the servers are in the EU that might point to some issue.

As a first diagnostic step, when you experience slowness, , can someone please click on the menu in chrome -> more tools -> developer tools. Then on the network tab, check "preserve log", and click around 1 minute, hover over a tooltip or two, then the last icon on the right should be "Export". And please send me the file to support@deckbox.org

Thanks!

I am working on some other speed related issues this week too, that will also help, although might not be directly related to this.

Hello,

The extras around Midnight Hunt were imported today:
- tokens & double faced tokens
- Prerelease datestamped promos
- promo pack cards
- Commander cards
- Commander tokens

Still some WPN promos missing, will take a look on moday.

A bit of a quicker import this time, the next set is in today, but the prerelease promos and tokens will still be missing for a few days.

A few missing Secret Lair promos also imported now.

The standard rotation is already applied, to give people some time to test some "next standard" decks smile

Agree that there should be some solution to the buyers who always just snipe spiked cards leaving negative.

Hello,

I have thought some more on the topic of implementing a possibility for sellers to opt for "non-instant orders" - where buyers need to first open the order for discussion before payment [1]. This would allow the seller to double check on inventory availability, card condition accuracy and pricing issues, thus avoiding the fees and annoyance of refunds.

I have tried to sketch a couple of options, ranging from a simple info flag that would highlight sellers that ask for such a discussion before payment, to an option that does not allow the buyer to pay before the seller "confirms", much like the trades have a "propose" - "accept" flow on both sides.

I have decided in the end that all the solutions have a bit too many downsides, and in the name of simplicity we will remain with the current system. In all cases there would be too many loopholes where sellers could lowball the pricing, only to then later bump it up after an order is discussed, or be negligent with inventory since cancellations would not incur negative feedback, etc...

The interface is also getting complicated, since the "special seller flag" needs to be displayed (and also explained) on card pages, on marketplace pages, on seller profile pages, on seller tradelists, on order pages, and on multi-order pages, where you'd have some of your orders be "instant", others "wait to discuss them" before you can click on "pay for all".

I'm not saying the feature request was not reasonable, and I do empathize with the issues of keeping accurate pricing and inventories for occasional sellers that have a job and life outside of magic, and not much time, but I could not find a solution that felt clean sad

All I can promise ist that I will try harder on keeping deckbox pricing more correct, and less "laggy" in catching up with price spikes, as much as i can.

Not sure if this is part of the update, but I added an emoji to a deck title and it worked great. Later when I went to delete it, I got an error that the deck couldn't be deleted. Removing the emoji from the title and then deleting fixed the problem.

Fixed now, thanks for reporting!

- fixed 'stickiness' of the view mode for cube decks (it was not remembering if you changed it to normal listing)
- migrated many fields to allow emoji input - chat messages, set names, comments, user bios, etc. There is no emoji picker yet on desktop, but if you select emojis on mobile or you paste them, they will work.
- adjusted pricing information for the Guru lands
- imported 6 missing Spider-based double sided AFR tokens
- imported a few MH2 missing double sided tokens: Angel // Elephant token (3/14), Thopter // Copy token (8/31), Germ /// Thopter token (10/26), Ape // Beast token (12/13),  Cat // Myr token (4/24)
- imported JP manga insert Bone Shredder
- imported the 2 new Judge promos - Morophon, the Boundless and Zacama, Primal Calamity
- imported missing Mountain card from the 1999 Mark Le Pine world champ deck
