I know Illusionist's Bracers says "Whenever an ability of equipped creature is activated, if it isn't a mana ability, copy that ability. You may choose new targets for the copy." Would I be able to use this ability on Sliver Overlord's "Search your library for a sliver card."? It isn't targeting so I was pretty sure I can't use it like that. But if I can I want to use it so bad.

If you're looking for more rampy stuff, I would suggest Knight of the White Orchid, Ancient Tomb, Temple of the False God, artifact mana or land drop replenishment via Weathered Wayfarer and Land Tax. I'm pretty out of touch with EDH but these are the sort of things I was looking at for my Bruna deck where it was almost an eventuality that I was going to have to get to 8 or 10 mana without having green.
I do have a Knight of the White Orchid and a Weathered Wayfarer, though the Wayfarer I was debating putting into my 5 color deck. I want a Land tax pretty badly. I forgot Temple of the False god existed. Ancient Tomb is too rich for my blood. I know, only $9. But as a college student I would rather use the $9 on a few cards over one card.

Hi guys. Just some more EDH help. I am never good at making decks from scratch. I want to make an all Flying deck, but my inner Timmy comes out and I throw all my favorite Angel's into the deck, which isn't good because white doesn't really have ramp.
Anyways, what I am missing from my inventory and wouldn't mind dropping if I must.

One more edit, I found the decklists. There were six cards which were different than the versions you could open in packs.
Oh hey, I didn't realize there were only six. I just assumed there were more than that. I have the Armored Pegasus, I collect Pegasus and Unicorn cards as well.
As for the Storm Crow in eBay I have been watching it for a while now and it never sells because it is too high priced. I have seen them on Star City but wasn't in the market for them and now that I am they are sold out. I would prefer a NM one also.

I have the most random want right now. I am collecting Storm Crow, you all know why, and I have come across one I cannot seem to locate. There are two versions of Storm Crow from Portal. One has reminder text for flying and one does not. Apparently the reminder text one is more rare and worth more. It's like a $0.25 card vs. a $3.00 card. If anyone has it I am willing to pay the full retail price of $3 for it, cash or trade at this point, I want it. While I am at it I also want Storm Crow from Starter and 8th Edition. I have every other print of Storm Crow right now including the hard to find Foils from 7th, 8th, and 9th editions (with a 9th foil for trade).

I have a few Slivers leftover from when I went on my BUY A BUNCH OF SLIVERS binge. I would love to find a home for them. Willing to take random crap from my wishlist for them. I am also in the market for any foils from Innistrad or newer. I have a buddy who collects them and will take em off my hands for me if I get em. Send a trade my way if interested. I also have a some other random goodies on my tradelist as well, though it is limited.
Here is a list of the Slivers I actually have left, some are great and some not so much.
The them for foil and promo pricing is a definite need, but it's not part of TCGPlayer's API for the time being. My guess would be that foil and promo pricing are coming soon with the improvements in the trade interface.
I did send an email to them roughly a month ago asking if they were ever adding token/promo cards and they said the reason they hadn't was because they had been using just the cards on the Gatherer. I never did get a definite answer about if or when they were doing it though.
That and when trading you need to let people know of the price difference so you don't get ripped off if the value of the promo is significantly more than the regular one. Most people if they want the promo they already know there is a price difference and will be fine with it. I just quote them average TCGplayer price on the promo. If TCG does not have it then I use StarCityGames and go about 80% because SCG is pretty high priced compared to TCGplayer.
Dang, I was afraid of all that. Now here is another question then.
If I target their commander, it gets exiled, chances are they are choosing to put it in the command zone. Chained no longer has a target, will it remain on the battlefield? If it remains even after I get rid of their commander, and they have no reason to destroy it at that point, I can donate it and it will just start getting me cards and life while being completely harmless on the battlefield. Or, because it has to enchant a mountain I control, Chained will fall off. I like Chained but have no reason to keep it if I cannot use it in Zedruu. It is the only deck I ever see me using it in.
EDIT: I use Oblivion Ring like that all the time, once they have chosen to put their commander in their command zone o-ring just sits on the board all inconspicuous gaining me cards and life.
That's what I thought. But the guy that told me is a pretty heavy Magic player and so I couldn't dismiss him completely until I got some more answers on it.

I play a Zedruu EDH deck very frequently and have a question about Chained to the Rocks.
If I use Chained to the Rocks, can I then donate the enchantment to someone without the creature coming back? Someone said as soon as I donate Chained, the enchantment no longer has a valid target and the creature comes back. Same question for if I donate the mountain instead.

I also have a Red Spindown Counter from Onslaught if anyone is interested. I know what retail price on it is and I would want a decent trade for that one. All of the pips (the numbers and symbol) are in great condition. None of the paint is wearing in them.
Retail Price is $30 and price will be negotiable on that.
I have a few items and I am not sure if anyone is interested, but thought I would give it a try.
First is the deckbox that came with the Premium Deck: Slivers. The deckbox has never been used and the foiling on it is in pristine condition. The only wear it shows at all is where the lid closes into the box, but even with that it is very minute.
Price is of course negotiable.
Second I have the Helvault Promo Spindown. Been used a few times but also in great condition. Have 2 and wanted to just get rid of 1 of them. Will trade for $2-$3 if interested. Price negotiable as well.
Last I have some of the stickers from Return to Ravnica and Gatecrash Pre-Releases. Yea I know, nothing fancy here, but maybe someone wants them. During the Pre-Releases I tried to get all the stickers to have a set, but I wasn't able to get Orzhov or Simic. I do have all the rest of the guilds though.

So these are your cards that you acquired in order to trade them to your roommate? I think most people don't want to step into the middle of a dispute. However if he doesn't want them I do consider some of them EDH playable. I'd be interested in these.

Ok, before anyone gets all upset about this post, the cards I want to trade away technically aren't his. I made a trade recently with a fellow deckbox member and got a few cards he wanted in good faith he was going to make a trade with me and take them from me. Now he is backing out saying the cards I have THAT HE WANTED are not enough to get what I want from him. He refuses to trade multiple janky rares for one semi-decent rare. ($3.50 rare for 6 cards he wanted that equal the same amount)
Now I am asking just for a small bit of revenge and would love to trade them away to someone else, doubt I will have any takers at all. I also have a few other cards for trade as well so don't discount that.

As for Palinchron and Thalia I would love to trade value for value unless I can find some other cards I want for them, but would prefer to stay on the higher side with them.
You may ask why I am mad at such a low price, well, I am only a casual player in college and money is an issue sometimes. Plus I could have gotten a few other cards from the other guy I would have wanted instead of the crap I got for my roommate.
More than anything I want to be able to say that I traded them away if he asks for them, of course stating how he apparently didn't actually want them.
Hey I didn't actually know stranglehold existed, that is a brilliant card for my playgroup and it fits my Zedruu deck. See my main EDH deck is Mono-white. Against most players it is fine and holds its own well, but I can't really control instants and sorceries.
I think I am just going to try the Isochron Scepter+Random card combo. I think I will try Silence on my Isochron Scepter.....

I tried to only add in cards that are less then $8 (Palinchron being the most expensive, but he is bonkers good). An out like Beacon + False Cure combo is always something good to have in there. There are some cards that are either not very good, or don't really serve much purpose like Sharuum (they won't be blowing up signets most games). All the titans are really good, and Sun Titan is a pseudo-ramp card with terramorphic + evolving + panorama, which is nice. Ertai/Mereike would almost be a better general because Sen Triplets doesn't really synergize with the deck and gets hated on real fast.
Alternatively, you could cut black and throw in green for cards like Sylvan Primordial, Terestodon, Avenger of Zendikar // Green ETB fatty to get some more consistent ramp going. Maybe Rubinia?

Spinx of Uthuun -- I played with it before and personally disliked it, I have had multiple people tell me how fun and great it is. Just personal preference I guess with that one.
Palinchron -- I do want, and I thought it was more than $10, I may be able to splurge and buy/trade one at some point.
Sun Titan -- Have wanted for a while now. Forgot why I removed it from this decklist....
Mystical Teachings -- Looks fun, didn't know the card existed.
Beacon + False Cure combo -- Looks fun. I could ditch the mask, but I love Sever the Bloodline
Grave and Frost Titan -- Dislike Frost Titan and only thing about Grave Titan I like is the Deathtouch. (Honestly not too fond of any of the Titans. Would love Primevile but banned in EDH, so don't actually want.)
Hinder and Spell Crumple -- Love Spell Crumple in EDH, Hinder doesn't look bad either.
Equilibrium -- Looks fantastic, I think I will get one of these.
Capsize -- Yea, a good card I had forgotten about.
For what I want to keep in.
Chromium -- My Commander >.>
Dromrar's Cavern -- Why not? It's EDH, it doesn't slow me down THAT much. Plus 3 color land. What isn't there to like about it?
Sudden Disappearance -- Has won me games multiple times. Love it, could remove it from the deck, but it would be like pulling a tooth.
Merieke -- I just had one, thought it would be fun to throw in.

I also don't want to cut black. I have wanted to make an Esper deck for quite some time. Granted it is nowhere near as powerful as I know Esper can be, I love the color combo and probably my favorite of the 3 color decks.
As far as Sen Triplets goes, I love the flavor. And my friends are all mad I got one, I regret nothing. Yea it doesn't fit my deck but why not? Good card with great flavor.
Mystical Tutor -- Have one, sitting in my Jhoira WIP EDH deck.
Demonic Tutor -- Would LOVE one...eventually I will get one.
Sol Ring -- Also would LOVE one.....if I had one it would likely go in one of my other decks though....
Gilded Drake -- Also would LOVE one. If I had one though it would go into my Zedruu deck.
Snapcaster -- Too much for what it does. I know it is powerful, but I don't need one nor do I want one THAT badly.
All in all great advice. The only problem I have now is acquiring the new cards, I have little in the way of trades right now.
