Just saying.  I would wait a long while before trying to sell those.  they are still being sold in stores everywhere so people will probally be getting them there.  in the comming months and ect when they arent i can see that price being fair.  patience friend :3

You'll have to wait quite a while for them to go out of print, considering they just came out.  They have said they are going to print enough to meet all demand, so hopefully there will be plenty put out.

Thursday final bump

Wednesday bump

Bump for Tuesday!

I pulled a Misty Rainforest and a Scalding Tarn today.  I'm looking to trade the pair for a foil snapcaster plus some random other stuff, please take a look.

I'm not really looking to trade the fetches for anything other than the snapcaster, but I have plenty of other tradelist items and stuff on the wishlist.  Take a look!

VERY common request, it's supposed to be included in the next release.  I don't think we've been given an ETA but it should be soon.

In case you want a file to test with, attached is my last failed upload file.  It'll show the check mark saying that it passed the validator, then has the error message at the bottom about how it couldn't make sure it was a plaintext CSV.

I have run into this same problem as well.  I have been really weeding through my tradelist in Excel and have been uploading small ~200 row CSV files for the last week or so.  Since the 2.1 release I haven't been able to upload.

I am LOVING the "strict match" feature on people's profiles!

I asked the same question a while ago and was told that since that isn't a valid set in Gatherer it isn't currently possible to have here hmm

Click where it says "in their tradelist" and select "in their wishlist".  Voila!  For a new card you're probably OK but it seems like for older cards most of the people that'll come up haven't been active in quite a while.

I have been going through my inventory and getting rid of a lot of the bulk.  I exported to CSV, have been deleting from it, and tried to re-upload.  When I use the "import from CSV" option, the file check passes but when I click "Import" it'll sit there for a bit and then say "Error: The server encountered a problem trying to import your file. Please check that it is a plaintext csv file and try again.".  Is this because my CSV is so long?

EDIT: I was able to get it uploading at 3,000 rows per attempt, I didn't try any more.

This is a very common request and I want it too.  I think it was mentioned in plans for a new version due a year ago, hopefully it's in the upcoming release.

I have a regular one in inventory, but I'd trade it plus value if you wanted stuff off my tradelist.  Take a look and let me know!

I'm interested, but don't have much that you want in my tradelist hmm

I am willing to trade to Canada, no problem.  I get a bit antsy when trades get big $$-wise, but I've done 2 large ones with AsymptomaticPyrexia for example that went perfectly.

Mailing in a plain white envelope takes a global stamp, which isn't that much more.  Bubble mailers are more expensive, require a customs form, and cost a few bucks more but still manageable.

My big issues are these two:
1. It's an arm and a leg to do any sort of tracking or registration cross-border, and even then the post office cashiers will take pains to point out that there are no guarantees cross-border.
2. Everything goes through Customs as well, which introduces a black box between me and my trade partner that will add a delay of some unspecified number of days depending on what time of year you're trying to trade.  I imagine the delay gets really bad around Christmas/Hanukkah but haven't had any in-person experience yet.  I have a pretty good feel for how long mail will take between when I send it and when the other person can mark it received, but I don't have that sense for cross-border.

Deckbox should avoid all involvement in these cases as much as possible, and treat them the same way they would treat a "cards in worse condition than specified" claim. Unwind the trade, everyone gets their cards back, move on. There is no way to prove intent, there is no way to prove authenticity (there are tons of cases of people on eBay buying real items and claiming fakes, then sending back fake items, for example), and it should be left to the individual traders. It is not the admin's job to authenticate cards, they are there to make sure trade issues are resolved and the best resolution in these cases is going to be the unwinding of the trade.

There is no situation where a trader should retain someone else's cards when a trade has been unwound. It leads to a lot of negative territory and there really is no excuse for it.

Totally agreed in all respects.

Can we please get this imported?

Thanks!

I'm interested in the polukranos if you see anything on my trade list.

Was the CD key ever associated with a battle.net account or did you not use it that long?

One thing to add:

I've had a few people use Deckbox to send me an email saying "I want your X,Y,Z, and have A,B,C.  Let me know if you're interested"...  Please don't do this, just start a trade and talk there!

I am not sure they would add that, this site is pretty much for trading cardboard. I wouldn't want to have to explain to a trade partner that they traded real cards for MTGO when they may not even have an account.

Really, in the dec 30 2011 post there was a promise for a release spring of 2012.  I know I have been really wanting some of the stuff like easier searching because when I specifically want a foil whatever, I don't want to have to click "next" 35 times to find the two people who have it in North America.

Very common suggestion, and it's been on the wishlist for at least a year.  I don't know what Sebi and the others are up to development-wise, but they haven't acted on anything that I've noticed.

For my project of foiling out the collection, I agree that it's a total PITA especially when I'm trading for a whole pile of bulk to look up each and every individual card.

I think you would totally be justified in asking for value to compensate for the condition.  You agreed to a trade expecting around $X in value coming to you, so if that value goes down significantly due to condition your trade partner should fix it.
