https://www.channelfireball.com/articles/updating-ur-splinter-twin/

although powerful Cryptic Command has sat in my hand 3 out of 6 games with eldrizi. I am moving down to 2 and up to 4 roast the card is simple amazing with the bigger drops

Telling Time has been amazing,  serum visions has been ok but its slow also if i want to bring it back i need to do it my turn switch sucks

With the banning of twin no one really looks at the Kiki combo. If you see a form of it in any decks it is and after thought. Just a way to maybe win if the decks can't grind out a win. Looking at older twin list most of the sideboard was set up for the mirror in my mind. With Twin being ban along with most of the decks it is weak against not being played heavily  Kiki combo is in good position.

Looking at a list of Twin before it was ban

This Deck has some mayor changes to it

Tectonic Edge and ghostly quarter has been replaced by Field of Ruin.
Field of Ruin get rid of my opponents mana and fixes mine allowing me to find Kiki faster and get the right mana to play him.

Desolate Lighthouse has never been great in my mind and has been replaced with Faithless looting. Again this lets me find the combo faster as well as sets up Logic not perfectly.

With the unbanning of Jace the mind sculptor people have been trying to play Cryptic Command but that is a trap agro decks can out race you to easily. Jace struggles in modern right now because be doesn't have the support he needs to fire off. In legacy this is done with force of will and cantrips to get more answers.

Jace the mind sculptor as a 3 off in this build is perfect. The goal is never to truly ultimate Jace but for Jace to give support to the combo itself. Jace is so feared he will buy you a turn most of the time and even let you search the top of your deck.

Cryptic Command  is still powerful but wrong for the deck because of Blood Moon and Kiki. The need to get to 3 red forces of mana outweigh getting to 3 blue sources. Often I will only have one basic island when I need to fire Blood moon off. I often get my 2nd basic island quickly however will almost never see it soon enough for Cryptic Command to make a differences in the game.

Flame Slash has been replaced with roast and although it cost one more doing 5 damage is much more likely to get rid of goft
Remand has been taken out I would rather play 2 logic not and 2 mana lech Remand being a soft counter and draw doesn't really help me. With  3 telling time 2 faithless looting and 4 serum visions along with Jace and other ways to get to the combo Remand has always underperform for me. I have never been happy to see it and drawing one card is not likely to help me. Harder counters will.

Because of all the draw power Snapcaster Mage has also been taken down from 4 to 2. Snapcaster Mage is powerful but again the focus is on getting the combo out and slowing down the opponent with Blood Moon. Snapcaster in a mid game card. I hate seeing it early unless I am already in good position or need to bring back a bolt with isn't often. Late game I want my final combo piece. True you can use Snapcaster to bring back a search spell but that still gives my opponent a turn. Most of the draw power comes for sorcery spells meaning I have to play it on my turn. Snapcaster Mage still has its place the draw spells let me see him often and getting extra counter spells are great for the control match up.

Spell Snare Is also a trap of a card to play only running two off and only being able to counter a 2 drop is to situational most cards you want to counter cost 1, 3 or more.

Thing in the Ice Has been play tested but I have never been able to fire it off. It draws some hate which helps for some match ups of for the most part has been underwhelming. Thing in the Ice is a card waiting to be broken but this isn't the right build for it at the time.

Here is a list I was running before the updates The sideboard was a work in progress.

Telling Time is much better then Anticipate. After more play testing Cryptic Command is in the sideboard. It is just way to slow, also Snapcaster Mage has been underwelming. Most of the time I have to flash him in just to block  and don't have the mana to play a spell nor can I because most of the spells that need to be played are Sorceries. I want to see if there is a better option then Remand as well. Mana Leak is also going to be brought down from 3 to 2 and replace with 1 Disdainful Stroke. With Telling TimeThunderous Wrath becomes intriguing.

I can see this about cryptic command now. I also totally agree about snapcaster mage, it just feels so clunky in this metagame. Remand is sub optimal but the fact that it cantrips makes it hard to straight up replace with good situational counters. I do like a mix of telling time, mana leak, and disdainful stroke, that seems pretty solid. Your also right, anticipate doesn't work like I thought, but serum visons and telling time do. Thunderous wrath is intriguing, just needs to be not clunky, which is hard to facilitate. It looks like we got some flexibility if snapcaster comes out. Calculated dismissal is slow, but scrys likely. I think if we can get a bunch of tempo value then being as lean and consistent as possible is a good option, which means digging for the combo quickly. What about teferi? I was just thinking about him.

I think I am going to try Phantasmal Image in place of  Snapcaster Mage

To copy eldrazi? Mirror Mockery is cool for a similar reason. Like a form of removal. The image is a non bo with kiki though.

How good is remand right now? If it fits anywhere, it's in this deck, but is it useful against cast triggers and cost reduction? Just wondering. How about instead of any serum visions playing telling time? It essentialy the same as anticipate, you could even play eight copies! Something I've been playing with is 4 anticipate, 4 telling time, and miracles. You could replace some number of roast, lightning bolt with thunderous wrath, as an idea. Also, temporal mastery and devastation tide are pretty sick. Imagine this line: T2 Anticipate into a deciever exarch setting a temporal mastery on top. T3 miracle, play a land. T3.5(4) play land, pass, deciever exarch. T4(5) play a land, kiki.

This looks like the best list out of the 3.Blood moon is the payoff, so might as well be all in on it. Spell snare is both incredibly good  right now becasuse of chalice and peoples reaction to it but also a dead once chalice is in play. I think you play lightning bolt no matter what, but it might be worth playing anticipate over serum visions to get around chalices. It could not to. I'm also hesitant not to run the full four Kiki. Even if no combo(?) snapcaster on a stick is great. Cryptic command is another big payoff to blue moon, and it is worth at least 3 if not 4, as it's so versatile. Your best sequence is turn three deceiver, t4 cryptic (tap their team, draw a card), t5 kiki-jiki (if no blood moon in play. Electrolyze is fairly weak right now, little dudes being avoided from chalice, rathchet, and gut shot. I really like batterskull main, but to fit another kiki and cryptic in perhaps sideboard them. Venser, shaper savant is another consideration. Thought-knot sear is biggest liability, flame slash? Lightning axe? Monastery Siege? Manabase is solid.
