SO this is a mash up of both my mono color decks it still needs tweaking as I have not added any new cards just cards I had in one of the two decks plus a few solid multicolor spells that I knew I was planning on toying with. There is still a need to add in the ramp and combos to make sure this is as quick as I can get it. The last time I played a true 1 v1 deck I lost to a big ass creature, swinging in after it had been pumped makes me think about putting in a few things to some that from happening of the top of my head I could play Maze of Ith.
Combos that are in the deck so far or that I know of that can go in the deck are
Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind + Curiosity / Ophidian Eye = Instant kill if you have enough cards in your deck
Splinter Twin / Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker + Deceiver Exarch / Palinchron / Pestermite / Zealous Conscripts = Instant kill
Deadeye Navigator + Peregrine Drake / Palinchron = infinite mana
Palinchron + Phantasmal Image / Sakashima the Impostor / Peregrine Drake / Palinchron = infinite mana
Palinchron + High Tide = infinite mana
Ghostly Flicker + Gilded Lotus + Dualcaster Mage / Narset's Reversal
Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal if I have rocks out
Ral, Storm Conduit + Doublecast / Expansion//Explosion / Reverberate / Twincast / Wild Ricochet / Reiterate / = Instant kill
Training Grounds + Izzet Guildmage + Manamorphose = infinite draw + infinite mana = Instant kill
Time Warp + Mystic Sanctuary + Meloku the Clouded Mirror / Trade Routes = infinite turns
Dualcaster Mage + Heat Shimmer = Instant kill
Godo + Helm of the Host = Instant kill
As of now Keranos, God of Storms is the commander of this deck but I think that will only be good if its multiplayer Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind seems to be there better choice one v one given the fact that it is a combo piece in of it self perhaps this isn't the deck to make a one v one deck but Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind could never be the commander in multiplayer as it would draw to much hate. An other thing to keep in mind is that if I do go the land destruction route, if Keranos, God of Storms is out he will survive and on top of that kill my opponent from burn and giving me more card advantage.
I will also put together a list of cards that I can swap out to make this deck multiplayer as the mana base and rocks must change I cannot play cards like sol ring or mana vault in one V one. However the more I work on this the more it becomes apparent that this cannot be a true one v one deck at least not a competitive one. In one v one most of the cards need to have a cmc of 1 to 3 with only splashing a few of the bigger 4 and 5 drops.
The next questions for myself now is how do control the game to get me to my win cons? Do I play counter spells or land destruction hand manipulation, draw power????? . I will also need to start looking at enablers for the deck as of now I feel this deck is going in a lot of different directions. It needs to focus on a few of the combos that can help each other
If this deck is ever truly meant to be played 1v1 a few cards that will need to be removed are below, on the side are the replacements

Amusing enough the Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind + Curiosity / Ophidian Eye = Instant kills only if you have enough cards in your deck for this reason it may not be best for this deck. Base on the fact that if there are multiple players life totals can be very high at times the only saving grace would be that Curiosity and Ophidian Eye both say that I may draw not that I need to. for me to be safe I would need to have both Kozilek, Butcher of Truth with Mind Over Matter and as both of those cards are well over 3 mana I belive it is harder to use this as a true sure fire win con in multiplayer. another odd thought is the fact that this combo is the best known combo in Izzet 2nd inly to Kiki and splinter twin. Perhaps not playing it when people think that I am can gibe=ve me an advantage????
Godo and the Helm of the Host are an Instant kill win con however they
are much hard to play nice with. Godo does tutor for Helm but if helm is in my hand that is very had for me, if either piece is dealt with It is also hard for me to reuse either piece for any other combo.
Tecotonic Instability/ War's Toll/ Mana Web + Winter Orb/ Static Orb = Opponents tears lol this can be fun but I don't think I want to use this package just yet. My Azorius Brago EDH does a great job at locking the board down and I don't know if I want this deck to do the same thing for for the time being I will side board this package although read does allow me to play things like
Time Warp + Mystic Sanctuary + Meloku the Clouded Mirror / Trade Routes = infinite turns is a fun idea but I don't know if its needed wet infinite turns is is basically drawing till I draw a win con so for now I will take it out
I love the idea of playing with both Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir and Thryx, the Sudden Storm but they are not win cons themselves nor are the enabling anything per say and for those reasons they are in the side board atm.
Below are answers to problems that at them moment I am not worried as well as a few counters I thought about using at one point. IF I ever need to rethink what the deck is doing I can take a look at this list THERE ARE A NUMBER OF OTHER CARDS THAT CAN BE USED this is simply as starting point if you will of options that I am aware of.
