Currently in the process of revamping this deck. I absolutely and whole heartedly love this deck. Grixus is my first love and so it feels good to have this as a go to deck to play. Its a long way away from thrax as I have learn in the pass few years its better to be unassuming in EDH rather then paint yourself as a target early one. With that idea in mind I have made a few cuts. I love Mogis but I find he is a build around me card. He makes to many enemies to fast and makes you a target to quickly Although this deck can respond to a lot of things you don't want to spend your time responding to everything just to stay alive. Kaervek the Merciless is another card that acts a lot like Mogis and has been cut for the same reasons. One of the weird things about Vial Smasher the Fierce is that even though it puts pressure on players because its random you don't become the target of everyones wrath. The only other thoughts I have for this deck is that when I play a permanent it should have some kind of effect on the game not just my game. Its this thought process that has made me include cards like Torrential Gearhulk over snap caster mage. Sure Snapcaster mage is great but the Torrential Gearhulk has a larger body which can be more important in edh still I can always add in Snapcaster if I really want to.

I cut  Cruel Ultimatum and Chandra, Torch of Defiance again for reasons of game play. Both these feel great if I was playing one vs one but in multiplayer I just don't think they shine very well. Chandra, Torch of Defiance is a great walker but she doesn't help me win the game or change the moment of the game the moment she is played  for this reason I cut her.

Currently thinking about cutting Keranos, God of Storms. I really like this card and I feel like it can do a lot but I'm just not sure if I want players knowing whats in my hand. the likelyhood that he ever becomes a creature are slim to none so what is the point of playing him then???? IDK lots of thinking going into this deck more then I thought lol
