Theme is: get Freyalise onto the battlefield and up to 7 loyalty. Then the -6 loyalty card draws and 7 life from Nissa's Renewal are usually lethal. Kodama's Might is the weakest/least-synergistic card, and is there just to remind me to find Kodama's Reach. Thallid Shell-Dweller and Nessian Asp don't match the theme, substitute 6 or more mana value mana-consuming Elf/Warrior/Shaman/Changeling.

Starved Rusalka is supporting minor theme: Kraul Harpooner. Pull both when satisfied with fight against flyers. Evolution Sage and Paradise Druid from WAR are probably worthy adds on theme.

Guardian Gladewalker pairs with Joraga Warcaller and Gyre Sage.
Elvish Pathcutter, Elvish Lookout, and Elvish Berserker are each quite weak, and are placeholders to boost early count of Elves via 1-drops.

Benefaction of Rhonas and Journey of Discovery are probably each better than Scout the Borders, but consider right after the draw 6 cards.

Winnower Patrol and Wolf-Skull Shaman pairs with Gilt-Leaf Ambush.
Elvish Aberration and Purple Worm and Tangle Golem pair with Fierce Empath. Substituting a similar Elf/Warrior/Shaman/Changeling for Purple Worm would be better.
