Scratchpad - 49 cards, 49 distinct
Cards in the scratchpad represent cards that you are considering for this deck, but are not
actually in the built deck. They do not count towards the in built decks count
shown in your inventory. If you are using the Auto Trade feature, they will be
still be marked for trade although cards in your main deck and sideboard will not.
Notes
ALL of the card draw to create an amazing amount of tokens, and then overrun with tokens + buffs. No counters in this one. Stay under the radar.
PL Goal - 7
Current Record - 1-5
Vs. Caesar and Greyfax - Had a really great first 7 turns or so. Then Greyfax countered my Prosperity for 18, and Caesar destroyed my Font of Mythos. I had 15 2/2 snakes at that point, but lost to an unblockable 14/5 double striker. It was really good, I had a lot of fun. Weirdly, I thought the deck could use a leeeettle more draw, and some more protection.
Vs. Ashaya, Pantlaza, and Raiyuu - Pantlaza is slower, Ashaya said they had a slow hand, so I kept a land with no ramp. HUGE mistake. Ashaya player won on turn 5 right after I played Xyris. I need to add more turn 1 and 2 ramp, so I can cast Xyris on 3 OR on 4 with protection.
Lost vs. Captain America, ?, and Tiana - Kept a slow hand, used most of my card draw in the initial hand to get enough lands to play Xyris, then ran out of steam. Got a few snakes, but then Captain America went nuts and did 17 commander damage to one person, then 12 to me, and was able to detach Excalibur over and over. Really struggled with mana again, I think I need to remove some backup plan items and add more ramp and land consistency. Needed double blue at one point and couldn't do it.
Lost vs. Jor Kadeen, Galadriel, Galazeth - Deck worked well. Had ramp, had draw in hand, played Xyris early and generated 15 snake tokens. I had an Eldrazi Monument in hand, and was going to play it the next turn, and Galazeth won via combo. The deck worked well, but was one turn too slow for this group. The draw powered the others up. I should probably add some more counterspells for that issue.
Won vs. Sir Gwyn, Frodo/Sam, Valgavoth, Ezio - This was a phenomenal game. Prosperity for x=5, everyone drew 5 cards, I made 20 snakes. Sir Gwyn popped off, gave an 8/7 double damage twice + double strike and he one shot Valgavoth. This left him open for me to kill him. Frodo/Sam hadn't popped off, and Ezio was blockable. I was able to take them out a turn or two later.
