Notes
 
Though I try to avoid the mono-color decks, blue is blue. Lacking mana ramp shouldn't be too much of an issue so long as you can copy or steal your opponent's strategy. Add card draw and counter effects to that and it's tough to beat.

    If you're going to run the control magic setup, you defintely need Treachery.  It costs 5 but untaps 5 lands, making it either free or net mana.  You do, though, need to worry about Homeward Path and Brooding Saurian when attempting the strategy.


    Ancestral Recall is banned in commander, as is Time Walk.  I have the official banned list posted as a deck on my profile at http://deckbox.org/sets/281546.

      Thank you for that info. I made those changes and added Treachery. Good tips. I would hope that I would get a Wasteland or Strip Mine out to wreck Homeward Path.

      I was told that Primeval Titan is banned. Is that coorect? It's not on your list.

        It is banned. For some reason, I had forgotten to put it on the list when I was changing it back to the original list. Sorry. Paul, Donovan and I had agreed to some specific changes to the banned list that Donovan and I later agreed we wouldn't implement in this new group.
