    Whadja Think?

You want Profane Momento to work. Ok, we can do this. Here's a bunch of thoughts in a fairly random order.

The biggest problem I notice here is you have no way to protect Ashiok and your lack of removal. Ashiok wins games, but it (yes, it) kind of needs to live... At the moment, you can typically look at him as a 3-mana Exile 3, gain 5 life.
Except when you need the life. Then it's gain 0 life. It's worth noting his exile doesn't help your Profane Momento.

Please, please run some removal. There's so much of it available right now...
If you shift the deck more to instant-speed stuff, Psychic Strike is a lovely counterspell.

I'm not sure why you're running 4 Duress mainboard. Creatures would worry me in this match-up a lot more, since you have no defense or removal. It also doesn't work with your Profane Momento.

Codex shredder is a good card. Good synergy with Dakra Mystic. The popularity of Courser of Kruphix also gives it extra bonus points.

Thoughtseize does work, but multiple uses of it's pay-2-life add up. I would consider running 3, or maybe 0 and putting in some removal.

Elixir of Immortality does what it does. Which is good stuff. I don't see the need to replenish your library being that necessary. And there are more cost-effective ways to gain life than this.

I'm guessing one goal you have is to mitigate the effectiveness of your opponent's removal. That's a valid strategy. The less creatures you have, the better that works. Some (not all) of the following creature nominations work with the concept.

Returned Reveler. Kills Dyrad Militants and Soldier of the Pantheons. Blocks a lot. Dies like a champ.

Balustrad Spy (there's a lot of 2 powered creatures in this format right now, and he's a flier). Already does his thing.

Nightveil Specter (Same P/T as Balustrad Spy, 1 mana cheaper, also psuedo-mills, and if you're lucky you can play the card!) Probably not the best choice though.

Lazav (Nyah nyah nya-nyah nyah. I have hexproof!).
Typhoid rats. Trades with most. Cheap. Works well with your Profane Momento.
Wall of frost - almost blocks 2 creatures.
Omenspeaker - scry, and potentially kill.
Sigiled Starfish - scry every turn!

      Have you considered Chronic Flooding?
I've never played with it. Could be worth it, might not. The faster this deck is, the more effective that is.
Typically I don't think it will dissuade them from casting their spells, which means it usually will mill. But late game it would probably be more ignored. And if they do decide to delay casting spells, that's good for you. Time is what you need! If you utilize the draw-card function of Dakra Mystic, it also incentivizes them to play out.

Dimir Charm is likely a good sideboard card.
      And possibly Grisly Spectacle.

All in all it's tough to say at the moment, because you have parts of the deck desiring to go in different directions.

On the land, I see no reason to run Evolving Wilds unless you also throw in a mountain for your potential Breaking // Entering. Mana confluence also isn't friendly for you. I don't recommend them. Run 4 Temples, 4 Watery Graves, and basics for the rest. You could also consider the new Radiant Fountain (colorless land, untapped, gains 2 life) if you feel your colors are OK. Alternately Darksteel Citadel and Ensoul Artifact can do things.

The Evolving Wilds are to pad my land count. I'm only running 15 "real" lands. I'm trying to get as agreesive a mill deck as possible. In thbuild as of my writing this post, I only have 4 cards with a cmc of 3, everything else is cheaper. I want something that can go toe to toe with most aggressive decks and still come out smiling. That said, I do need to build for more stability. Ive added in 4 doom blades (ultimate price may also be an acceptable subtitute)  and a sensory deprivation.Returned reveler was a good suggestion, added 4, cut a few duress and a dakra mystic. Chronic flooding is pretty bad when used on an opponent. Compared to Contaminated Ground, it only nixes 1/20th of my opponent, whereas Contaminated Ground get 1/10th.

Good thinking on the Chronic Flooding. And putting the mill as an option (as in, giving your opponents options) is usually just a bad idea.

Ok! This deck looks like it has some direction now. I'd go back to 4 Dakra Mystics - they're a real engine for this deck. You might discover that mill often has a similar big problem as burn decks: they run out of gas. That's why engines for it (dakra mystic, ashiok, jace memory adept, consuming abberation, phenax) are so important.

Also, crypt incursion is too good to not run at least 2 of. The life you can gain from him is astounding.

On lands, what you say makes sense, but there is a better way to do it: just run less land. I think if you play this as is you'll discover how much you hate having those evolving wilds come in tapped. Just run 18 lands. You can do it. Especially if you run Scryfish (sigiled starfish), you can really help smooth your draws. 5 basic for each will give you 13 sources for each color, which is a rather reliable number to get what you need.

I still don't see a need for duress, and 4 thoughtseizes are still a lot. On doomblade vs ultimate price, you can run both (which i'd prefer over sensory deprevation)!
