    Just my take on the deck. It almost builds itself. However, the disadvantage with this deck is it relies on Phenax and Jace to make the deck operate. Food for thought when playing versus some variant of this deck. Slaughter Games looks like a card that will destroy this deck. The trifecta of Jace, Ashiok, and Phenax are what make mill currently viable at all.

      My deck typically wins by actually killing them. Mill is a backup plan that they have to worry about.
      Also, I don't see the purpose of Retraction Helix when you don't have Inspired creatures. Why not run disperse? That extra mana is well worth the cost of not having to tap a creature, in my opinion.


      Lastly, depending on a 5cmc win condition on 23 lands seems a bit risky. Add to it that 8 of those lands will be forced to come in tapped.

        True. This deck was a thought exercise though. I have no intention of building it.
