Started the night out running Bloodthirsty Aerialist and Boneclad Necromancer in the main deck, but I found that the double black pips were pretty hard to hit with a fair amount of double and triple green as well as some double blue. So I swapped the Necromancer out for an Anticipate (the idea being that it could help me fix my mana as well as find action) and then eventually swapped the Aerialist for a Dire Fleet Cutthroat. Which is a worse card, to be sure, but one that wouldn't be stranded in my hand as easily.
It's possible I should have adjusted the mana base, but I didn't like being unable to cast my Silverback Shaman when I had five lands or my Vorstclaw when I had six (let alone trying to cast Vivien). And also Dungeon Geists are really good and they need double blue... So in the end the only double black I kept was Murder because hard removal is worth it.
Anyways, it's also possible I should have gone with a different color combination. My Esper mana base looked really solid, and I actually had some decent top end white flyers in my pool... but I wanted to run Yarok and Vivien, so in the end I went Sultai.
(And I gotta say, Yarok with Dungeon Geist is *sweet*.)
Around round 3 as I was looking at cutting the Aerialist, I did briefly consider splashing white in addition to black to add some of the single pip white flyers. Since I had two WB gainlands, this actually seemed not all that hard... but going four colors would *probably* be a little bit greedy.
And in the end I went 3-1, losing only to a UWb flyers deck (and possibly my own bad keeps).
