In my experience they only ban cards after they've had an extreme effect on a format, Jund was 35% of the Modern Meta pretty much everywhere and ALOT of other decks ran BBE, and yes Kiki is one combo but the deck has other ways to win and so banning Kiki probably wouldn't do too much

I thought sacrificing was just one means for something to enter the graveyard.  As I understood it, you would get the draw if an opponent destroyed Chromatic Star or if you Sacrifice it, because it hits the graveyard either way.  If you sacrifice it, however, as part of the cost for the first ability, that effect would happen.  The draw would happen after the card lands in the graveyard.

Yes, that's correct, I was only trying to compare that phrasing to sacrificing it to the Rebirth, anything that causes it to be put into the yard from play.

No, the sacrifice is part of the cost for each of the cards, you have to pay the cost for each ability, it's similar to trying to cast an arbor elf then a giant growth with the same green mana, costs must be paid before the ability happens, if you sacrifice Chromatic Star however you do get to draw a card because it's when it's put into the graveyard, not sacrificed, therefore you wouldn't get 1 mana of any color

Well I'm not sure how your meta looks but I can say with 100% certainty you should never play either shock or searing spear in Modern, ever, Lightning bolt is 100% better than either of these cards

My thought is that if you want to try to play Bloodrush with infect, you should go all in, use blood rushers with Thalia, and cut instant/sorcery pump, the problem would be color fixing which tends to just happen in Modern, people have their 100$ playsets of Fetchlands most of the time, I'm not sure how competitive Modern is there tho.

If people are playing Fetchlands your best bet to keep up with the speed would be to go Mono-Green, Run Glistener Elf, (Probably have to trade for a playset of Inkmoth Nexus) Blight Mamba, Ichorclaw Myr and the best pump spells in green, Might of Old Krosa, Groundswell, Vines of Vastwood, Mutagenic Growth, ECT and Wild Defiance, Apostle's Blessing is the BEST unblockability spell for Green

I agree that people using typical archtypes is QUITE frustrating especially given the fact that all of the staple cards in Modern are extremely expensive, however the banning of Bloodbraid Elf and Seething Song should shake some stuff up. But the fact that Fetchlands are legal makes the format really fast no matter what, so there are only certain decks that can survive, because you'll be dead if you stumble on mana even a little.

Doran is pretty powerful in certain matchups can absolutely destroy delver-ish strageties aince It really cuts down on their power, it isnt as good in your deck because it hurts your finks and confidants, I dont think it works very well for you.

I like Liliana alot, its a functional removal and gives you discard, Id say it could be worth a 4 of, maybe moving pulse and persicution to sideboard, but its relative to the meta, is this for FNMs or tourneys? Also I like 1-2 tectonic edge to deal with opposing treetops, colonades and such plus it feeds your yard.

You should probably include Cackling Counterpart, it's really relevant, copying a Guttersnipe is huge and having another snapcaster for 3 Mana is nothing to shake a stick at, and given the more control-type nature of the deck you'll often be able to flash it back late-game

Depends on how competitive you want to be, the only Junk builds that i've seen do well are Doran stuff, I'm working on a Junk color modern deck myself and I find that #1 Jund will just outvalue almost anything, although Lingering Souls is a major pain in their side they can usually play through it #2 Control is usually really too strong, I mean they  essentially just need to counter your Knight of the Relinquary, then bolt any Dark Confidants you play and they will win beause your kitchen finks can't keep up with Cliques and Geist of Saint Traft, but that's just on a tournament level.

A couple things are that I think that your deck needs to choose which of two ways it wants to go, the Thalia route or the Liliana route, right now I think Liliana is really great for your deck, if you dump Lingering souls, Great! you flash it back for cheaper and if nothing else you can use a deathrite shaman on it. Thalia is also an absolute house against alot of the control decks (UW and WUR) because she slows down all of their plays while stopping Geist of Saint Traft at the same time, the main issue is that she would hurt you alot as well.

As to specifics, I havn't tested with zealous persecution very much but I've only seen it used in Goyf battles so I'm not sure how relevant it is in your deck.

Other than that it seems pretty solid, it's a bit of an Atypical decklist and so I think you'll be able to win since you're unexpected, there are some ways to throw money at a deck to make it better but for the most part Inquisition really is just as good as thoughtsieze and Knight of the Relinquary by end game is usually bigger than Goyf, although Deathrite Shaman is a major pain for the Knight.

These are just general thoughts, if there's a specific meta you're trying to play in I can probably offer some tips about what to add/cut

Im going Gruul since Im looking for Domri and I know I wont win any packs, If I was going just to win Id probably go boros or orzhov, the reasons are based on the mechanics, while using bloodrush can be good you usually would rather have another body on the field. Battalion is pretty weak IMO however the guildmage seems pretty sweet, Im always looking for cards that can create creatures without wasting cards in your hand, nit to mention that the amazing charm. Orzhov I like the mechanic they seem to be able to slowly drain their opponent and each of the cards with extort slow down the game not to mention that limited tends to be a little slower in general. Dimir seem to have potential. I think the promo for dimir a lot and Ive found mill very powerful in limited formats

So I'm trying to build a Zur the Enchanter EDH deck, and I want both a normal and a foil Zur, I have a Scavenging Ooze to trade for the foil version so shoot me an offer if you have one and need an Ooze + somethin smallish

I am open to trading from inventory but the likelihood is much lower that I'd trade it (Fetchlands are not for trade nor are Noble Hierarchs or Nicol Bolas of any edition)

I'll also trade for other stuff I don't have listed that's good in Zur since I havn't tested it out and I don't know what build I'm going to like yet.


It's also worth noting that I'm interested in foil/promo/foreign versions of any of the cards for this deck as it is an EDH deck and I'm also very interested in either version of the Foil Command Tower as well as Foil lightning Greaves

9. Click on the Import multiple cards field and hit your "ctrl" + "V" key to paste the entire list you copied earlier from your inventory page.
10. Click the "Import" button and your set.

Just make sure that the first line of the list once pasted into your add cards field is set to the left or that card will not add correctly.

This will also show that you have duplicates of every card in your inventory, I would print it, then delete your inventory, then paste it into trades
