Main concept: pestilence/life gain

Plan: Control the game through hand disruption and lifegain-removal until Pestilence or Gurmag Angler takes over (pestilence-inspired MBC).

Try #1: lots get creatures with high defense out to block creature attacks until pestilence comes out. Just enough disruption to keep opponent off balance long for first 4 turns. Problem was creatures often weren't even effective as they were bypassed by fliers or unblockable. Further problem was not enough disruptions. Yet another problem was mana curve - too many spells costing 2 and 4, not enough costing 1, leading to idle turns.

Try #2: fewer creatures, lower costs, more disruption. Cry of contrition combined with death cultist fit the bill. Add some dark rituals to speed up the deck and make sure it never sits idle. Gurmag Angler is an alternative way to win, if pestilence doesn't come up or is removed.
