sheltering word is a great way to both preserve a valuable ramped up creature, and gain life while waiting for that critical card I need before moving in for the kill.

awe strike might work as a sideboard card in this deck to guard against kiln fiend or some other voltron-type deck.

Don't know what my thinking is about Empyrial armor. It's not like I'm going to purposely keep a bunch of cards in my hand. I guess it's because it's an enchantment, which feeds ethereal, but perhaps I can do better.
