Notes

An attempt at a mid-range creature-centric Faerie deck that uses Counterspell, Spellstutter Sprite, and weak flyers to keep the opponent's early game contained, then quickly ramps up the quantity and quality of flyers (thanks to Warden of Evos Isle and Stonybrook Banneret).

I call this deck creature-centric because it generates card draw and counters from repeatable enter-the-battlefield effects and bounce/flicker. Spellstutter Sprite is therefore an especially critical card.

Faerie Imposter has to be Shrieking Drake to be Pauper legal but I don't yet have that card.

Following are printed as I didn't have enough to go around all decks

1 Snap
2 Faerie Miscreant
3 Spellstutter Sprite

Is lack of turn 1 plays a big weakness of this deck? Or should I just resign myself to it and think of it as meaning I can have more special lands that come in tapped on turn one? Maybe it doesn't matter if I can make it really good in every other way if the opponent gets a 1-2 turn jump?

Maybe I just need to wait a couple years until a good Fairie comes out in the 1 or 2 slot. Following if downgraded would be great additions:

** Faerie Imposter **
** Quickling **
* Glen Elendra Pranksters *

Couldseeder
Faerie Harbinger

Ninja or Mistblade seem interesting here as spellstutter bouncing back is an advantage.

Storm Sculptor (or Keymaster Rogue) is seriously tempting but it's neither flying, nor a faerie.
Repulse also seriously tempted as a bounce cantrip.
Silent Departure?

Stormbound Geist is always good but I cut it to stay more focused on Faerie creatures.

Shrieking Drake seems very interesting as I don't have much in the one slot. However, I don't want to play it on turn one as I need the bounce later. Still - though I'd much rather have Fairie Imposter downshifted to common, this seems worth trying.

I like Mist Raven a lot as it's a flyer with bounce but I cut it to make way for Faeries.

Distant Melody should be tested. In 20 Faeries deck, could end up drawing 4 or 5 cards!

And there's also a large number of wizards at common, many of which are quite interesting. Some fly.

It's tempting to splash black. For example, Dimir Infiltrator can fetch spellstutter strite, or be an unblockable creature, depending on what is more needed.
