      Do you mean in 'name' or in what it does? It's a lay low type of land that builds and busts out something awesome like Exsanguinate, Lavalanche, or Sudden Demise.

        And those others are awesome, with the exception of Exsanguinate which is just terrible.  I don't know if that's worse than Insurrection or not.

      I'd like to add Verdant Force. I noticed that I was holding Night Soil in my hand at the end of the game I won, so what I need is the right kind of token generation. I counted 12 cards that can currently make at least 1 token (some can do more) so I'd like to get it to about 20.

        I'd cut:

        Stonebrow - not enough tramplers

        Maze Abomination - not enough multicolor dudes and the bonus isn't worth it

        Fell Shepard - weak card

        Thundermare - I'm not sure why this is in here.  It taps your team too.

        Inferno elemental

        woodborn behemoth

        soul snuffers - is this here just for Kulrath Knight?  Having a 2-card 'combo' without tutors (or just your one tutor) isn't reliable enough to run a substandard card like soul snuffers, which also kills a bunch of your dudes.

        Terra Ravager - small butt and can be chump blocked all day.  I'd only run something like this if I had ways to get it to punch through.  All I see is Rogue's Passage and Gruul War Plow (and sometimes Sword of Body and Mind)

        Sylvok Replica - why run this instead of an instant speed artifact/enchantment removal?  For 4 mana, you can even draw a card off of Splice in Twain.  

        Young Pyromancer - with only 13 spells that trigger her, I'm not sure she's worth it here.  There are more reliable and repeatable token producers.

        Melira - why is she here?  Just to hose infect decks and maybe work with Soul Snuffers?  I don't think she's worth it.

        Sword of Body and Mind - you typically don't want to mill your opponents.  I'd only run this in decks that can abuse your opponent's graveyards.

        Demonic Collusion - I know this is a pet card of yours, but unless you can abuse the buyback (like in Karandor), I don't know why you wouldn't rather run something like Diabolic Tutor.  You can't benefit from the discard in this deck, as far as I can see.  I run it in Damia because I'm drawing piles of cards, and Jarad because I want to fill my graveyard with stuff, but nowhere else.

        Crop rotation - what land is importnat enough for you to pay a land, card, and a green to tutor for?

        Reliquary Tower - I don't see any card draw that would require this.  In a three color deck, I think you'd be better off with a land that produces colored mana.


        Some other suggestions (besides the earlier ones):

        Reassembling Skeleton - repeatable sac dude.

        Viridian Emissary - saccable dude and mana ramp

        Farhaven elf - ""

        Wood elves - ""

        Brawn - saccable dude and gives you a nice bonus when he's in your GY.

        Filth - same as Brawn and disgusting with Urborg, Tomb of Yawg.

        Ogre Slumlord is a gem I found for my Kresh deck.

        Grave Titan would be awesome in this deck.  I don't remember whcih deck has him, but this one is likely better for him.

        Jade Mage: Not amazing, but easy recurrable token generation

        Ant Queen: better than Jade Mage

        Death's Presence would be sick here

        Avenger of Zendikar - always good.

            So we're clear, a majority of the suggestions I don't own, therefore I'll do what I can when I can. For an example, Ogre Slumlord would be awesome: Don't own one. Reassembling Skeleton and Jade Mage: Yes.

            Now for the other cards, I agree with you and will replace Sylvok Replica and the Reliquary Tower. Easily a better land and a Naturalize could serve better. As for the other cards, here's why I want to keep 'em:

            *Stonebrow + Gruul War Plow - Will this happen much? Unlikely but I like the idea of it. Perhaps I'll go with Maze Behemoth rather than Maze Abomination

            *Fell Shepard and Young Pyro - I'm on the fence about them but I like the idea of the Shepard getting back all my sac'ed dudes and YP makes dudes to sac.

            *I like Terra Ravenger even if it is chumped, but it could be swapped out. See next...

            *Thundermere, Inferno, and Woodborn are all elementals and I have an elemental sub-theme going on. They'll get cut when better stuff comes along.

            *Soul Snuffers can be used against tokens and works well with Melira and Kulrath Knight. SS and KK are elementals. I'm going to keep it in there for now.

            *Sword of Body and Mind is there for token generation. Is it normally saved for a 'Mill' deck, yes, but it'll work here too.

            *Demonic Collusion is my pet card and I like being able to use it again and again. I agree that I don't have a graveyard strategy with it so it could be swapped for Demonic Tutor.

            *Crop Rotation is instant, that's the only real reason I want to keep it.


            All good suggestions and I'll work on making the deck better. I've only played it 3 times total so I want to get a feel for it first before making too many sweeping changes.

              Gotcha.  I do have an extra Ant Queen, Viridian Emissary, and wood elves.


              If you own a Demonic Tutor, I totally would use that.  So good.  If you have a bunch of two card combos, you should add it with the other tutor to help you find them.


              Golgari Germination could be good if you sac enough nontokens.  I'm not sure you will though.

      I was at the comic book store and got one from Theros. I think any 3-color deck (regardless of Green) needs some kind of land ramp/fixing. I'm reconsidering Goblin Sharpshooter. I like him against an opponents tokens but not much else. Thoughts?

        Green has do much better color fixing!  For the same cost (2 mana and 1 card) you get rampant growth which actually accelerates you!   For one more mana, wayfarers bauble also drops the land into play accelerating you.  The amulet is terrible.

            Is your q spike in a red deck?  If so add it there.  Without death touch it's too conditional for my liking.  When it's good it pretty good but when it's not, it sucks.

        I can't watch the video.  If you wanted to build a bit around the brothers, you could add stuff like Phyrexia's Core and Spine of Ish Sah, though I'm not sure you should put too much effort into one of the 99.

      If I counted correctly, I have ~8 or so cards that can handle enemy artifacts in some fashion, so the Grudge had to go to make room for something else. In fact I feel like I have to make room for some other cards!

    Ruric Thar should get cut.  When I played it in an all creature deck, you guys just stalled.  You have 20 cards that are non-creatures/non-lands.
    Exsanguinate stinks.  :p
    Tornado Elemental kills your general.
    What's your target for crop rotation?
    What's your target for Flamekin Harbinger?
    What's the plan for the deck?  I see lots of stuff, but I don't know if I see a theme.  With prosh and Primal Vigor I'd focus on +1/+1 counters and tokens/lots of creatures.

      Yeah, Ruric could be detrimental to my overall strategy. Funny, I cut (or didn't include) Rough/Tumble for the same reason but kept Tornado Elemental because it's an elemental creature. Must re-consider. Crop Ro can get any land really and the Harbinger gets Kulrath Knight. We all know how much fun that creature is! My theme is counters, tokens, and Elementals w/ minor scavenge using Varolz and Flesh//Blood. I want this to big BIG Green Red with Black enablers.

      Yeah, it's tough to get YP in a commander deck. I cut him from my other deck but think he may have a home here in a 'Elemental' 'Sac creatures' type of deck. Again, the Ravager is an elemental, but if I have something better I'll move him out.

          I'd like to test having it in there, but it will certainly get cut for something better in the future. I'm also considering cutting ~2 lands from all of my 3-color decks, but I'm concerned about doing so.
