    If you're looking to abuse sphere of safety, you need to/should go heavy enchantments.  Some ideas for cheap dudes/enchantments:
    Hopeful Eidolon
    Nyxborn Shieldmate
    Ethereal Armor is great here.
    Archetype of Courage
    Archetype of Imagination (though not too many)
    With a bunch of flying first strikers, it'll be hard for anyone to profitably attack into you since you can gang block and kill things.
    If you aren't worried about standard, add fog banks and guard gormazoas (sp?) since they're amazing walls.
    I'd probably cut the scepter and most of the spells.
