Most Jhoira decks work on the idea of suspending a mass land destruction spell and Blightsteel Colossus or some other huge unanswerable win condition. My group doesn't play much land destruction and I also didn't want this deck to be an auto threat at the table.
The first incarnation of this deck was a derpy wizard tribal with no real usefulness of Jhoira's suspend ability. The deck just didn't do anything and required your opponents to cast spells, mainly instants and sorceries, to really do anything. I also put Arcane Melee and other cards to push the flavor that we are all wizards and have cool spellslinging effectss. My unused win condition was to cast Dragonshift, turning all my 1/1 and 2/2 wizards into dragons and alpha strike, never happened.
My next idea for the deck is to either add Time Warp effects and time counter/phasing cards and/or cards that referenced Jhoira from back in the day. Another idea is to make an artifact based Jhoria deck because she was an artificer of sorts.
