Notes

This deck has gone through a few revisions the since its creation a handful of months ago. Normally I wasn't even intended on building a Narset deck, let alone one that was so noninteractive and combo based, but it happened. My friend Charles build a deck utilizing extra turn effects and multiple planeswalkers, and the deck was vicious 1v1 and could still be a threat in multiplayer games as well. In brainstorming with him, I decided to build a deck as well, but realizing I didn't have nearly the planeswalker package, I opted for a spells only deal. Some decks have their one trick pony, that is always the go to card, for this deck, it was Eye of the Storm. I had tried it in a few other decks but wasn't expecting to dominate this one. Eventually It became to easy to put an extra turn spell into Eye of the Storm and just "go off" so eventually I took all the effects out but left in a few extra combat step spells, which later proved to be too much as well. In losing extra turns or extra combat steps, some cards that were previously abused by those effects, Empty the Warrens became less good, as the deck focused on trying to win in one turn instead of across several. The latest version added in a few red ritual cards that popular storm combo uses. Another necessity was adding cards that untapped land or artifacts to all the combo engine to continue in the form of Twitch, Turnabout, and to an awkward but very utilized extent, Rewind. In all honesty, taking out the extra turn cards lowered the over all mana cost of the deck and can allow for Narset to hit the board faster. It's a fun and interesting deck to Solitaire/"goldfish" but as far being a fun and interactive deck for multiplayer games, it fails horribly. It was a fun experiment none the less.
