Originally inspired by a guy who played with the same general, but instead of choosing the targets, he let the player casting the spell choose the targets instead, seemed like a cool way to use Kaervek, and multiplayer politics.
The deck is just a bunch of random cards, not a lot of "fun cards" that inspired it. It's also been hard to play mutliplayer with casters choose damage since my playgroup can be somewhat competitive, thus hurting the overall theme and inspiration of the deck in the first place. Despite giving people the ability to fling free damage, people usually kill Kaervek first, or stupidly target me, and that is why we can't have nice things.
