The original theme of the deck was "Wanderer Through Time" with a bunch of extra turn effects, one of which being my favorite Stitch in Time. While the time theme was pushed a little more than most lists I have seen, it became a little stereotypical and unsurprising. I started to view extra turn cards as negative so one day I decided to strip the whole theme. Also, the addition of Tooth and Nail and Crystal Shard to infinite Time Warp with Eternal Witness pushed the deck too far in a direction I didn't feel comfortable with, so I stripped the time walk effects and T&N to make room for cards I wanted to play but couldn't find room for.

Thoughtflare - Temur Ascendancy
Surrak - Thunderfoot baloth. Giving trample to everything is similar, but +2/+2 as well is a big deal. Downside, need to control Wanderer, but is not a difficult task.
Hellkite Charger - Tyrant's familiar. Similar bodies and abilities. Familiar just gets better with Wanderer, and killing a creature on attack is worth the trade off.
Manalith - Commander's Sphere. Same ability but can sac to draw a card. only upside to the swap.


While it's kind of awkward for the two Alara panoramas to be in the list, I already have the two enemy fetchlands in the list and can't really justify adding the tri-land because it comes in tapped and this deck runs as few lands that enter tapped as it can. Maybe I will add a wooded foothills and some other fetch but for now, the panoramas will stay.
