Notes

Evolution:
- Number 1 problem I wrestle with: Can I get away with running non-white rebels?!?? The two big contenders that I am always considering are Big Game Hunter and Dunerider Outlaw. Hunter nukes a big threat - seems good - and Dune has pro-green to supplement the protection suite I already have. The problems? BB cost means redesign the mana base and suffer speed / consistency or ignore it and put one in the toolbox to rebel for... but never able to cast it. What say you?
- My toolbox handles a lot (look at tips below), but I think there are other stuff... Mirror Entity looks good to push through for a end strike (if you don't mind tapping out, I do mind) or to fetch to foil Pyroclasms. Whipcorder looks like I missed it. Others?
- Want to go more hard-core? Work in more Disks.
- Lin I think should be 2x min. She usually comes first and eats removal.

Tips and Tricks:
- First few turns, play out some rebels from your hand if they are the searching type (Ivory Giant is a one-drop for you as well that can set up a nasty strike later) then once the engine is on, convert to draw-go mode.
- Most things are instant speed so you can respond to what is going on. If nothing notable comes your way, rebel out at end of their turn. Bring out a few searchers before digging into your toolbox if you can
- Numero Uno: Know what is in your deck vs graveyard. If you are looking for something and you forgot you left it in your grave, no good.
- Generally, Lin is your first fetch since she makes searching easier. Her recurral option is integral but 3x Mistveil Plains does the same if she catches removal.
- Your strong game is against red and black since you have the 'bringer cycle and the pro-color cycle.
- Lin and the Mistveil set up engines with the following:
a. "sorta" Fog engine with Children
b. life gain engine with Aven (not every turn though)
c. Exile red / black critter with the 'bringers
d. "counter" direct damage spells with Children
- Bound in Silence is MVP. Do it before they attack with a biggie if your toolbox can't deal with it (big green tramplers fall here)
- 2x Zealot can cut some of the weenies down with X/1s and X/2. I very often go for these first.
- Defiant Vanguard must be MVP #2. Nukes most stuff and surprises players who don't know your deck. In a pinch you can regen it for another go with Charm.
- In a draw-go control style, Dawn Charm works well and the counterspell option trips a lot of people. Return to Dust has the 2-for-1 option as well, and never seems to get enough love...
- In a deck full of 2/xs, you can sometimes fool a player with the Blade, a 3/1 otherwise it's not that impressive.
- Disk looks weird but it is right on here. It's low cost, instant speed activation is perfect for rebels. Field getting too much to handle? Got a searcher rebel? Activate the rebel, the respond by activating Disk. You wipe the board first, then you will have a lone rebel ready to begin again. They have NOTHING! Bwah ha! (Plus you have rebels left in hand sometimes.)
