Notes

“Sack Lunch” is a Jund power-conversion engine built around Kresh the Bloodbraided turning every dead creature into raw inevitability. Rather than playing pure aristocrats, the deck thrives on engineered chaos: token swarms, forced combat, sacrifice outlets, and asymmetrical board wipes all funnel counters onto Kresh while engines like Greater Good, Skullclamp, and Disciple of Bolas convert massive power into overwhelming card advantage. The deck weaponizes multiplayer combat through cards like Rite of the Raging Storm and punishes creature-heavy boards with sacrifice effects and profitable wipes that leave Kresh towering over the battlefield. Games usually end when Kresh becomes an enormous trampling threat through Kessig Wolf Run or Whispersilk Cloak, or when his power is converted directly into lethal damage through Soul's Fire, Kazuul's Fury, or Chandra's Ignition.

Exchange List:

Hardened Scales -- The Ozolith
Darksteel Ingot -- Culling Ritual
Chromatic Lantern -- Chandra's Ignition
Mogis, God of Slaughter -- Dictate of Erebos
Harmonize -- Momentous Fall
Avatar of Woe -- Dragon Broodmother
Hero's Downfall -- Mandate of Abaddon
Temple of Abandon -- Malakir Rebirth
Somberwald Sage -- Xenagos, God of Revels
Beast Whisperer -- Return of the Wildspeaker

I've been screwing around on mtgsalvation looking at some modern decklists and just happened across this EDH Kresh primer.  Obviously you don't want to adopt the list wholesale, both because it plays as a toolbox rather than beatdown deck like yours and it is more fun for a deck to be yours, but it seemed like it has some ideas that are worth thinking about.

Thanks for the link. I agree with some of the stuff this guy is doing (great ramp built in and some nice combo's), but he runs a lot of really pricy stuff that I think takes the fun out of running a "fun" deck like Kresh. I did some updating and will try to add some things as I get them.
