Omo’s Identity Theft is a Simic lands-matter deck built around bending the rules of land types until the table quietly realizes something has gone terribly wrong. Using Omo, Queen of Vesuva to spread everything counters across the battlefield, the deck transforms utility lands into overlapping engines that fuel explosive mana production, recursive value, and alternate win conditions.

The deck leverages powerful land interactions with Cloudpost, Vesuva, Planar Nexus, and Baldur’s Gate to generate absurd amounts of mana while assembling specialized land packages through Crop Rotation, Hour of Promise, Sylvan Scrying, and Reshape the Earth. Maze’s End provides a legitimate alternate victory path, while Dark Depths and Thespian’s Stage can create a sudden 20/20 Marit Lage to close games out of nowhere.

Beyond its land engines, the deck turns constant land drops into overwhelming board presence through Scute Swarm, Rampaging Baloths, Avenger of Zendikar, Titania, and Ancient Greenwarden. The result is a deck that snowballs hard into the late game, weaponizing lands themselves as both infrastructure and inevitability.

At its best, Omo’s Identity Theft feels less like a normal Simic deck and more like a hostile takeover of the game’s mana system.
