The deck hands out counters like business cards—shield counters, +1/+1 counters, and “helpful” resources—then uses goad, taxation, and proliferate to make sure those gifts come with strings attached. Opponents are encouraged to attack elsewhere, build boards you didn’t pay for, and solve each other’s problems while you sit behind Propaganda effects, quietly escalating the situation. When the table finally notices who’s been pulling the levers, it’s usually too late: the board is locked, loyalties are misaligned, and the contract has already been signed.
