Cheap cantrips, looting, and wheels fuel Melek’s cost reduction while steadily growing his power into a legitimate combat threat. The deck thrives on spell velocity, chaining together increasingly explosive turns through mana reducers, spell-copy effects, and recursive graveyard value.

Cards like Thousand-Year Storm, Arcane Bombardment, Archmage Emeritus, and Metallurgic Summonings turn every spell into escalating advantage, while token generators and burn payoffs pressure the table from multiple angles. The graveyard acts as a second hand through effects like Finale of Promise and Mnemonic Deluge, allowing the deck to recycle key spells for devastating late-game turns.

Win conditions include copied X-spells, storm-style chains, overwhelming token swarms, table-wide burn, and giant Melek swings enabled by Rogue's Passage. The longer the game goes, the more dangerous the deck becomes.
