Scratchpad - 0 cards, 0 distinct
Cards in the scratchpad represent cards that you are considering for this deck, but are not actually in the built deck. They do not count towards the in built decks count shown in your inventory. If you are using the Auto Trade feature, they will be still be marked for trade although cards in your main deck and sideboard will not.
No cards here. :(

Notes

This has a lot of the traditional Phoenix elements (namely, Faithless Looting into some very angry birds), but it also has Jeskai Ascendancy as a path to victory. With Ascendancy out, each of your spells untaps Faerie Conclave or Fatestitcher, both of which tap for mana. That lets you churn through your deck, discarding more Fatestitchers and Phoenixes, until you can attack for tremendous amounts of damage. You see a ton of cards thanks to Ascendancy, and once you have 2+ Fatestitchers or Conclaves in play, your spells all generate mana.

You can check out game play of the deck here, and it's one of the sweetest videos I've had the pleasure of making. This deck leads to a lot of cool game situations and ends up using some pretty crazy lines of play to get across the finish line.

It's becoming more and more clear that Arclight Phoenix is the real deal, and now is a great time to pick some up. They are a staple in Modern, no joke in Legacy, and the driving force behind a strong deck in Standard. There's not much more you can ask from a card, and you can even get 5% off with the code LSV.

Happy Phoenixing!
