Notes

It was very close, we were almost a call of the death-dweller deck in this version. The call's we resolve with fiend's and priest's are going to be game breaking, but ultimately, even though we added more two drops, call is fiend+ or bust to be worth including. We need more drops for consistency, and they need to be as impactful as fiend, which just doesn't exist. So, we are not a call deck still.

As a top end play we are trying blood and snow as a natural payoff, hopefully into Valkyrie, which seems likely on six with all the self-mill we do. As such we cut rankle to not clog the high end of the curve. Similarly and because of the DFC issue, we cut two agadeem's awakening, as we intend to cast it more often, and want less incentive to play extra copies as lands, and blood on snow is going to renaimate a valkyrie or fiend anyway. These land numbers may still be off, but this is where I would start on this list. Because Faceless Haven costs 3 to activate, starting on 3 and seeing how that goes feels right, as I am much less likely to activate a second copy beneficially (I imagine it's mostly a tempo swinging effect that I'll once to seal a game). This version is all about the battlefield, and is better geared for those battles than the base list. What it sacrifices is the maindeck hand disruption. Only testing will reveal if that is a critical element or not, but I have a gut feeling that is more of a meta based decision.

Initial Sideboard then:
4 Duress
4 Elderfang Disciple
2 Agonizing Remorse
2 Cling to Dust
2 Necromentia
3 Inscription of Ruin
2 Tymaret, Chosen From Death
2 Tergrid, God of Fear
1 Liliana, Waker of the Dead

Some thoughts from the base version:
"The sideboard plans lean into causing attrition by more direct means. I'm not sure what is sideboard able as of yet, but the thought is post board I strip the cards that matter the most and then proceed with my primary game plan. 4 Duress is a no-brainer, as hosng black sweepers is paramount as they exile. Agonizing demize supports this, and also acts as graveyard hate. Necromentia supports this by removing them forever, and should have low down side if I hit their hand hard enough. Inscritption can also support this as a mind rot, and Tegrid offers an 8 rack mode to the deck that sidesteps creature and graveyard hate that incidentially is enabled by all our discard. This switch is very appealing. it's creature based mode is also insane with the Valkyrie. Bloodchief's thirst is our duress against creature decks, inscription is another removal spell, and massacre wurm offers us a smash win against these decks. On 8 with a rites and a rebirth we have some sick plays where we get two triggers off the wurm. Tymaret offers us graveyard hate (important with so much recursion around and us playing attrition), further lifegain, and a creature based option which is easier on the sideboard. This might be main deckable, and certainly is a staple in the side. I would have to shave 2 to start depending on what I thought fit.

Also, Elderfang Disciple might be good post board on the draw, and liliana acts as the 3 Tergrid."

Because of the maindeck focus on creature hate and the battlefield, this version wants to side step into a hand disruption deck more than the base version. We should be very favored in the creature matchups, sideboarding lightly against them. In fact, we can justify a sideboard for them that is entirely the desirable modes off the versatile cards, and actually no dedicated cardboard in the side for those matchups. Because we will be so weak to the sweepers and exile based removal of the control decks, we can move into an entirely different deck for those games. This makes sense as we are playing this version expecting aggression. Post board, swapping elderfang disciples for haunted edge flips the script with the same trick. It's especially effective on the draw, and rebirthing the elderfang is a fast track to emptying our opponents hand. This paired with the other discard should give hand and stack control. Resolving the back half of Tergrid is actually what we are siding her in for, and in this sense Liliana acts as another non-creature option for this that will be easier to resolve and stick around. Conjoining the 2 should hard lock the game. That lantern can be activated in my opponents draw step. Fighting these decks requires different tools, so it's possible to spread my opponent thin on sequencing and sideboarding. And Inscription on the Draw is just fine as a pick up against aggro. I mean Koma's faithful, priest, and demonic embrace are easier cuts for this sideboard transformation, and if this strategy is using elderfang/tymaret, I can touch on the tritons as well. Lees enablers post board to play around graveyard hate, playing ghouls and 3 power for 3 that I can cash in for a card and might get back later is just fine in this transformation. Egon Also might be cut for this reason, although the throne is still very valuable.

Also, for snow play patterns of this deck, I still want to get 6-7 mana, but the first 4 need to be snow, or at least the first 3. that makes the priest trade for most creatures on curve. Then Blood on snow only needs 4 to get back the most expensive card in the deck, 5 if Tegrid is in, so my later top dek rebirths can be played as lands to build towards this. I still assume I will be agadeem's awakening like 95% of the time at two copies, and likely only playing it to max out a turn mana wise.

When playing Yorion decks, we can not let charming princes or yorion to loop a yorion. We need to be prepared for this interaction to play an attrition game.
