Axe Bonfire of the Dammned. Its stupid and gay. Curse of the Nightly hunt could go, possibly. And a single skullcrack doesn't do enough.

Bonfire? Yeah... I think so. It does have a very valuable use though: kills invisible stalker, and hopefully other weak creatures and does damage to the opponent.
I'm on the fence on its cousin, Aurelia's Fury too. I think I'd primarily use it for "aaaaand no Supreme Judgement / Barter in Blood / Mutilate / whatever other sorcery bullmuffins for you this turn." The tap thing is nice, but I have Faith's Shield to be unblockable/invincible.
Curse of the Nightly hunt is if my opponent is running first strikers. They would shred my creatures (another reason why I like my 1/1 flyer over Dryad as mainboard :D).
Only one skullcrack is, yes, only one. But I think I'll see more Undying and such problems (annihilating fire) than lifegain.

The more I look at Seance, the more I like it. I'm really considering mainboarding one.

It looks rather strong, but you may want to consider a few things: Try a touch of black for Unburial Rites. You liked that spark trooper so much, you thought you'd have two more. I also dont see the point of Judges familiar mainboard. You may have better sucess with Dryad Militant. Martial Glory also appears like a weak point. Divine Deflection is super strong, but you need to be expecting to be hit really hard, and I don't know if you are really wanting to leave mana open for it. But by all means give it a shot, as this certainly shows promise.

The Judge's familiar is actually one of the first cards I knew I wanted in this deck. It's flying, so it's harder to block. This is very important with how aggressive my deck is. Throw Madcap skills on it and it's even harder to block - doing 4 dmg a turn starting on turn 2. That's going to make my opponent spend a removal card on him - effectively saving the life of a Silverblade paladin.

Since the deck is built arround spark trooper, I'd be very wary an opponent would have a (instant) trick up his sleave to deal with it or my silverblade paladin. The 1-mana counter ability might make the difference between me netting 12 life and him losing 12. Furthermore, it could be his undoing since it can trigger my nice Morbid effect on Brimstone Volley. I can hardly emphasize how important the flying factor is. Slayer's stronghold turns this even into a nice-to-see guy late game. Since this is not a human or battalion deck, and particularly would prefer some creatures to pair with double strike, no other 1 drop comes close to how perfect it seems to fit its slot (in my mind; we'll see about reality).

But you did answer a big question of mine I had: What the heck should I put in the sideboard?
      Answer: 4 Dryad Militants!
      :D

Divine Deflection is a late-game card designed to finish them off, or save my valuable creatures should the mana be open for it. I was going to run 4 until I pulled a Boros Reckoner.
My deck is definitely designed to just about suicide everyone at my opponent. However sometimes, defense is necessary. I think Truefire Paladin, Boros Reckoner, a potential double-strike Silverblade (but probably not), Slayer's Stronghold, Chandra, Faith's Shield, Divine Deflection, the life I gain from Spark Trooper, and even Martial Glory manage to turn what would be a sizeable weakness to I think one of its strong points - yet each of those has formidable offensive capability too. Martial Glory + double strike = 6 damage for 2 mana, and could end up saving another creature's life.

We'll see how this all does, but it looks to me like a deck that will hit HARD -fast-, and manage to still hit hard, late.

So! You've already given me 4 excellent sideboard cards. What shall we do with the other 11? You called it on Martial Glory - he's a support card, not a central card, and would be one of the first to be sideboarded out.
      So what else?

I have some ideas posted here, though I don't own an Aurelia's Fury.

Oh, I love the Unburial rites idea. But it has a big problem: 2 red in Spark Trooper and 2 white in Silverblade Paladin don't get a long any easier when you throw in a third color.
But I guess I could, swapping out plains for B/W and mountains for R/B... with the aggro and even life-gain this deck is I suppose I could afford the life price of the shocklands...

Thanks for the idea, I don't think I would have thought of it on my own. How do you think I should execute it?
      • Quincy Norton | 17-Mar-2013 06:55
Just splash in Blood Crypt for a few Mountains, and do the same with Godless Shrines and Plains. A double-striking Spark Trooper? If it connects, thats 12 life, and then who gives a crap about a little pain from your manabase? Especially if you can get triple the value out of a Spark Trooper. Here is my curve- 1: Dryad Militant, 2: Madcap Skills 3: Silverblade Paladin 4: Spark Trooper SB/w Paladin 5: Unburial Rites, SB/w Paladin 6: Unburial Rites SB/w Paladin.
        • Quincy Norton | 17-Mar-2013 06:59
To anyone doing the math, thats 73 potential damage by the end of turn 6. 36 of that damage had lifelink. Thragtusk can eat its heart out.
          • Quincy Norton | 17-Mar-2013 07:03
Swap out the Martial Glory, the 2 Faiths' Shield, and a Brimstone Volley, and PRESTO! Room for 4 Unburial Rites. Plus a suprise Rites on Silverblade Paladin or Boros Reckoner is equally devastating.
            • Pierce | 17-Mar-2013 17:50
So I'd need 6 black shocklands to make it viable. I only own one of them. That's $50... it's an awesome idea but I'm not sure it's worth my squeeze. The idea is absolutely bonkers awesome, because yes I do love the concept of this card so much. But I think it would be more well-rounded without it and with the Faith's Shield...
              Dunno.
The deck I have posted up already is rather cheap for its effectiveness. I'll only need to buy the 2 boros shocklands, 2 Knights of Glory, 2 Spark Troopers, and the Chandra ('cause I gave that one to Jimmy).

Got another sideboard card: Reverberate. I love countering and opponent's counter with red. :D And if I'm copying my own boros charm, I sure as hell ain't complaining.

              So what else?
