    Different version for sure. Why are you so dead set on Seraph of the Sword? I know its an amazing card, but what are your reasons for warranting a 4 of in this particular deck?

      Because it's actually a threat. If they don't fear for their life total until you've already controlled the game with your Silent Sentinel, then Contaminated Ground was nothing more than an inconvenience.
      Now if they have to worry about getting hit by something they likely can't block or kill, and that 10-turn clock suddenly became a 4-turn clock, it puts them in a much more difficult situation. Same with Obzedat - they're to put pressure on the opponent.



      And of course, the ability of being able to chump block for days (save when that kill spell comes out) seems extraordinarily important to this deck.

        Good reasons. My concern is having it instagibbed by a Lightning Strike, but having 4 shores up a nice offensive option for the deck. Taking 3 a turn is a likely threat, especially if Ethereal Armor Shows up. Which I've noticed is not in ths deck at all. Interesting. I personally feel that Seraph won't pressure an opponent enough without some form of a boost. That was my reason for packing Underworld Connections instead of Read the Bones. Read the Bones is much easier to cast, and even provides instant results on top of a scry. However, in a longer game, Underworld Connections will yield a greater advantage, on top of it being an Aura, and therefore boosting the Eidolons, and enjoying a cost reduction from the Hero of Iroas. Not that you'll be powering out turn 2 Underworld Connections, but a turn 3 Connections could yield you an extra card a whole turn earlier, or be followed up with another potential enchantment.
