Shattered perception is definitely worth a try.  I'd love to see fires of yavimaya in here too!

Apparently simian spirit guide is actually really good in the deck.

Possibly swap out a couple of lands for valley rannets.  Some decks run 18 land and four valley rannet.

Dryad arbor provides a fetchable target for demonic dread, so one would be a nice add.

Kessig wolf run has been recommended to replace one land slot.  Not a bad idea.
