WEAPONS AND WARDS
The angels have abandoned those they once protected, and villagers are beset by monsters and angels alike. As humanity is left to fend for itself, it falls to you to sound the alarm, open the armory and call the militia!

The "Weapons and Wards" deck combines Humans with Auras and Equipment that boost them in combat. Your goal is to keep your opponents on the defensive with constant attacks. Protect your creatures by casting your most powerful enchantments when your opponent doesn't have enough mana to respond with removal spells.

There are lots of different ways to play offense in this deck. Cultist's Staff and Slayer's Cleaver can make any creature into a threat, while Fiend Binder and Subjugator Angel punish an opponent who wants to block your creatures. If your opening hand includes Hamlet Captain or Inspiring Captain, you may want to try swarming past blockers instead of overpowering them. Faith Unbroken is one of your best cards, exiling the opponent's best creature and boosting one of your own.

The Eldritch Moon set has a number of cards you could add to the "Weapons and Wards" deck. Lone Rider starts out small, but boosting its power will let you gain enough life to transform it into a deadly threat. Bruna, the Fading Light can revive any Human you may have lost, while Gisela, the Broken Blade is more than capable of winning the game on her own. Control both, and they'll meld into the unstoppable Brisela, Voice of Nightmares!
