Notes

The demon Kothophed offers you the use of his destructive arsenal of spells and Zombie creatures. With the spell mastery mechanic, your spells become more powerful as the duel continues, which will make other sorcerers think twice before crossing your path.

In the early turns of the game, the "Demonic Deals" deck plays like any other black-red aggressive deck: Focus on casting creatures on turns two, three, and four, and start attacking your opponent as soon as you can. Use removal spells like Fiery Impulse and Weight of the Underworld to clear away potential blockers.

As the game goes on, your opponents will discover you have some diabolical plans for their creatures. Both Act of Treason and Enthralling Victor steal an opponent's creature for a turn, giving you an extra attacker (and perhaps one fewer blocker for your opponent). Then sacrifice that stolen creature to your own Blazing Hellhound or Fleshbag Marauder to keep it off the battlefield for good!

When you want to give the "Demonic Deals" deck your own special flavor, Magic Origins has many options. Priest of the Blood Rite summons a sizeable 5/5 flying Demon, and if its own drawback becomes too inconvenient, just sacrifice it to your cause. Liliana, Heretical Healer wishes to master death, just as you do. If you oblige, she may become a fearsome Planeswalker, raising a legion of undead to fight for you.
