Won Pro Tour Paris 1997 (Mike Long)

"The Wishing Well, a variation on Prosperous Bloom, was designed by Mike Long and David Mills.

Prosperous Bloom is a green / black / blue theme with six cards at its core: Prosperity, Cadaverous Bloom, Squandered Resources, Natural Balance, Infernal Contract and Vampiric Tutor.  The deck translates cards and lands into mana to feed into Prosperity for even more cards, land and mana.  When the Bloom player has no life and most or all of their deck in hand, they cast a 30- or 40-point Drain Life.  City of Solitude or counterspells guarantee that the Bloom remains the victor.

Since the Mirage / Visions decks were very fast, Long tinkered with the Bloom's secondary cards to maximise speed."
